this post includes all the icons I made for the sherlock holmes battle + rejects and alts. I like to post my stuff seperately from the battles I take part in, because it feels more organized to me (which might be an illusion, but bear with me) and I want to have the opportunity to say something about these:
please note that I tried to do something different this time around. I wanted them to look monochrome and add a sort of old/nostalgic feel to them. I'm not sure that always worked out, but all I can say is that I had so much fun making these. I'm not saying that I want to stick with this style, but just like during the complexity challenge at 20inspirations I realized I was capable of other things and learned something new that I can add to my repertoire (: I purposely created some alts the way I'd have with my usual style, just so to have something to compare them with. I hope the difference shows.
I'd welcome any thoughts/comments/critique on these, but please keep in mind I was intentionally trying to think outside the box (my box, that is) (: iac, I hope some of you'll enjoy these. MOVIE!SHERLOCK OWNS MY HEART. peace.
