The babies were coming too soon...far too soon. She needed to find help. Bracing herself against the wall, she tried to find a person, any human would do. A doctor would be ideal, but she wasn't even sure if there was someone here in that profession. Hunching over, she muffled a cry as a powerful contraction tore through her. She needed to find a safe place, if she were to be attacked, she couldn't defend herself...she didn't even think she could do this alone. Of all the times for Ben to not be here...
Stumbing into the room closest to her, Vivien found herself in the observatory. She didn't see any monsters in the room, so it would have to do. Just as she started to relax, another contraction ripped through her, stronger than the first and causing her to let out a cry of pain. They were too close together...even if she were already going into labor, they shouldn't be this close together so early.
She couldn't help but wonder if she was going to die here...if she did, who would take care of her babies...if by some miracle they survived the night. She didn't forget what Lock said about monsters thinking children were easy targets.
Unable to stand anymore, she used the wall to lower herself to the floor with a whimper.
