What: Mello decides that it's time to play with the large blank book in the library again.
Warnings: Not sure yet!
It had been quite a while since Mello had given much attention to the mysterious blank book in the library, and he figured that it was about time he go back and do so again. The only trouble with this plan, however, was that he was considerably less than sure about what the hell to do with the book. He had no memory of what had happened the first time he'd tried to write in it; he only knew that it had apparently reacted violently because he'd heard it second-hand.
That, rather predictably, posed a couple of problems. It was nearly impossible to tell whether the book had an general aversion to being written in or simply hadn't approved of what Mello had written; the fact that he hadn't the slightest idea of what that had been certainly didn't help in that respect, either.
He stood over the table that held the book, staring almost blankly, and laid one hand down to finger the edge of its pages. Before he tried to write in it again, he'd have to examine it more closely than he had the last time. If he even had examined it the last time. Not being able to remember definitely complicated things.
The only thing that he was certain of was that this time, he had to make sure that he remembered the outcome of whatever he did.
