One thing you never get used to after being resurrected after death? The waking up part. Never fun, trust him on this, because Dean has had his share of resurrections. He thought without Cas around that wouldn't be the case here. He didn't even remember where he went this time. Heaven sucks, and he didn't want to go back to Hell. Well, if he did, maybe he could have got Adam out this time. Crap.
He scratched his head, trying to recall what happened this time as he slowly stood up. Ok, he's all dusty. Ashes? No, seemed to be dust, so nobody tried to give him a proper hunter funeral. He hoped his mom didn't come across his body. That would have been hard to explain. He had been bleeding, right. There was some chick there who bit him.
Oh fuck, he didn't turn again, did he? His fingers flew up and jammed into his mouth. No, teeth are normal. Senses normal. No more hungry than a typical morning after. Ok, so she just killed him. Dammit. Well, other than the bloodsucking, it...wasn't that bad. Better way to go than some of the past times for him. Still something was weird, and she said a name.
Gabe. Can't be, Gabe as in Gabriel? Because last he heard, Lucy plugged the archangel. Years ago. So who the hell did she mean? Well, he hoped he hadn't been dead that long. So he slowly made his way downstairs, gripping the railing for good measure. Least it was daytime now.
