Who: Puss and you Where: The straight hallway of the second house and beyond. Specify if you'd like to run into him in a specific room! When: Day 005 What: Puss explores the house some more. Warnings: None as of now.
Mello left the viewing room on the newest addition to the second story in somewhat of a hurry. The room's butterfly, after having been caught, had behaved exactly as the past couple of butterflies had; and though the apparent transfer of memories was both strangely fascinating and quite possibly significant, he wasn't entirely sure that he liked it. There was just something about having what seemed to be someone else's memories forced upon you that felt damn invasive.
But that didn't matter, and it certainly wouldn't stop him from seeking out as many butterflies as he could find. Ignoring them, after all, simply wasn't an option.
He shoved his hands into his pockets, trying his best to ignore the mirrors that lined the hall as he continued to explore the upper floor. They were terribly distracting, and especially so because they had apparently taken to decide that he was considerably better groomed and dressed than he'd ever actually been in this place.
It was almost insulting.
The favourable side of a mirror-lined hallway, however, was that it was terrifically easy to spot anyone-- or anything-- else that might have been there as well. And upon catching sight in the reflection of the hallways apparent other occupant, Mello stopped dead in his tracks.
The cat was not only wearing what appeared to be a pair of boots and hat, but also carrying a sword.
And he'd thought the other residents had been screwballs.
Puss became quickly aware of the fact that there was someone watching him, further down the hall. Another predator, perhaps?
Quickly and decisively, Puss drew his sword, flared his cape, and turned briskly on the figure not that far down from him. Yet, it seemed to be another human.
"Is there anything that I can do for you, señor?" he asked, voice laced with challenge.
