What was the purpose of being trapped by the strong barriers of this strange house?
That was a question that was grating on the hollow's mind as he sat in the Dawn Room, the couch he had recently taken a temporary liking to--however human it was--dragged closer to the fireplace. The mansion itself was still damnably cold, something that he'd never get used to, and no matter what he had tried after his kill there was no way to escape the place to go... back. Home wasn't a word he'd use; it was more of a world he existed in until he could get out through Ichigo's soul. ...Though he hadn't heard much from his King since his first encounter. There wasn't a trace of him anywhere even though the other had lost all of his powers. ...Not that the hollow was worried. Annoyed, yes. But worried? His King, however stupid, could take care of himself in a house full of humans. However, he still didn't feel talking to him. If Ichigo wanted to talk to the hollow then he'd have to come to him. Simple as that.
This strange world bothered him more though. If it was anything like the Inner World he was used to surely there had to be some sort of King or being that kept everything intact. There was no rain, no shaking--warning of the danger of the place collapsing... but there had to be something. He was sure of it. All he had to do was find the ruler of that world... and destroy them.
While he thought about where he should start, the hollow remained where he was semi-comfortable on the couch with his arms crossed over his chest and looked at the fire. He wasn't completely relaxed enough to let his guard down. The ghosts and strange creatures that roamed the place would get a nasty greeting if they trespassed in his territory to disturb him.
Besides. It was fucking cold he and he hated that just as much as being trapped inside.
