Who: Dean, Open
Where: The Parlor and where ever his steps take him
When: Day 004, late afternoon
What: Hey it's that guy again! Wait, not exactly. Looks like another new arrival instead.
Warnings: He's a Winchester, this means double entrendres, single entrendres, and don't forget profanity.
(
This isn't the road trip he signed up for. )
"Um, who is Sam, Mister? The only Sam I know is Mrs. Mary's baby, and I don't think babies can answer people yelling for them. Is Cas a girl or a boy? I haven't met anyone called Cas yet!"
Reply
"Sam's my brother. Huge guy with long hair, can't miss him. And Cas is Cas." He wasn't about to explain the whole angel issue. Most people don't believe, including himself for years.
He slowly approached the corner, still being cautious since the kid might not really be a kid.

"I'm Nina Tucker, and I'm four years old, and you shouldn't point those at people cause someone might get hurt." She nodded. "Even big brother says so."

"I'm Dean," He paused and then added, "Winchester, and I know what I'm doing. Lots of dangerous things out there." Chances are, if he sent here, his name wasn't going to be a surprise anyway.
"Listen, this would be a big help. Any chance you could tell me where we are?"

She blinked, staring up at his face for a moment, head tilting from side to side as she studied him. "Mrs. Mary was right, you did get bigger. I guess baby Sam musta too, cause you said he was a big person, not a baby." Mrs. Mary probably wouldn't be very happy that Dean was pointing guns at people, she knew her daddy wouldn't be happy if she got big and pointed guns at people.
She shook her head. "I don't know where we are. I got lost and then I was here."

Dean would have asked more but then his brain caught up with the rest of her remarks. His face grew pale for a moment. It can't be her, they saw her briefly in the old house, but she was just a spirit then. And she was gone. He's pretty sure now that wasn't her he saw in Heaven. Just more of Zachariah's fucked up party tricks.
"Nina? Who's Mrs. Mary?" Dammit, he can't hide the freaking waver in his voice, or not enough of it.
Reply
"Um, she's a really pretty lady and she has long blond hair, and she has a baby Dean and a baby Sam, and Dean's supposed to be my age but you're not anymore. And Sam's just a little baby."
Reply
"...Because she never got to see her kids grow up," he shakily replied with a hand in front of his face. He then knelt down in front of her, and reached out to touch her shoulders.
"Nina, this is important. Did she? Was she only appearing some of the time? Did you feel cold? Random things moving around?"
Reply
She frowned, shaking her head. "She's a really good mommy, she should be there for her babies."
She shook her head again, braids swaying with the motion. "Nah uh, she gives really good hugs. Sometimes things happen at night, but Mrs. Mary won't let anything bad happen to me. And sometimes it's cold, but she's really warm. Are you going to tell me to put salt in a circle too?"
Reply
"She was a great mom, and that's right. Salt all the borders. Best way to stay safe."
Reply
She reached for his hand automatically. "Yeah huh, we're safe cause it's daytime. Monsters only come out at night. Those are the rules."
Reply
"This might sound weird, but did you see her handling the salt at all?"
He started to walk along, and then stopped for a moment. He knew some monsters did in fact come out in the daylight, and don't play by any rules.
"What kind of monsters have you seen? What did they look like?" Sounded like he stumbled on a hunt after all. Might as well do some good till he can find Sam and Cas, and figure out how the hell Mom could be here. Maybe he went back in time?

She walked with him for a moment, then peered up. "Um...there were the doggies and the crawling things without the faces, and the ghost that was one fire. And the monsters with mouths for chests. I try to hide when there are monsters, though, cause I don't want them to get me. And Blackie looks after me."
Reply
The descriptions sounded pretty bad. Especially the doggies, but he endeavored to hide the shudder at the memory of the hellhounds. The other two sounded a little familiar. Well, the first he thinks he saw in hell, and there had been spirits with flames. He couldn't place the last monsters offhand. He just hoped he could kill them.
"Don't worry, Nina. I go after monsters like that all the time. They won't hurt you."
Reply
She nodded. "You sound like Mrs. Mary. She said she'd protect me too."
Reply
Brief pained smile crossed his features, "Yeah, she used to be good at that when we were your age. Or I was, Sammy was barely a little squirt then."
