Who: Toboe and anyone Where: Entrance Hall/Hallways, where ever he's wandering around to When: Night 003 What: New arrival pup is lost and mildly freaked out. Warnings: Derpfluff.
Is this all right? I figure he could at least tell in his wolf form, like other wolves in Wolfs Raintimbre_wolfNovember 14 2011, 10:09:04 UTC
Amonir was again in his wolf form. He had picked up an unfamiliar wolf's scent and, and as if to encourage him to investigate the entrance hall, it was a howl seeking a pack that he heard, though it confused his brain and sounded much like a normal voice as well. He might have only been a few rooms away, but he decided to announce himself, howling in response, at once saying that this house was marked as his, but that he wouldn't attack as long as there was no harm intended and that he was going to look for the newcomer and meant no harm. And he had marked the door this very night.
It wasn't long before he found Toboe, and he needed to stop suddenly, shaking his head. His eyes were confused, seeing the wolf as a boy... or was that a boy as a wolf? Werewolves he knew, but he wasn't entirely sure what Toboe was. His nose said wolf, though his eyes and ears were both fooled.
Totally fiiiine~badatfetchNovember 15 2011, 01:20:07 UTC
Toboe turned around with a bit smile on his face, it was so nice to see another wolf... and not as hostile one! He felt no need to maintain his guise while in the company of one of his own, especially one of his own that seemed fine without his guise as well.
He's a young wolf, not incredibly impressive, nor did it seem like he intended to be- what with his tail wagging enthusiastically and whatnot.
"Hello! Um, I'm sorry for intruding, but... um... I'm kind of lost..."
cute username too!timbre_wolfNovember 15 2011, 03:12:37 UTC
Amonir can't be that much older judging by appearance, even if he was much older in years. He perked forward his ears and raised his tail proudly now that the tricks on his eyes seemed to stop. Already he was asserting his dominance, but it was only natural. He even smiles a bit at how happy and relaxed this newcomer was.
"We both are then. This place seems to have stolen us from our homes and our packs. Were the names you were calling those of your pack?" He walked forward and sniffed at Toboe to catch a better scent. He smelled like a normal wolf, not a werewolf, but was more intelligent than what was considered the level for an animal. Perhaps he was a magical beast? That would explain the intelligence and that... it must have been an illusion.
"I wish I could speak to others in this form, rather than just wolves, but I don't want to chance my elf form in an area already said to be dangerous." He showed no indication that he might this this could be bizarre to someone, or that he might be from another reality.

"Well, I don't think we're really a pack... but they are my friends!"
And he just tilted his head looking as utterly confused as he possibly could. All wolves could talk to humans, unless there was something wrong with this one-
"W-what's an elf? Is that why you can't talk to humans? I've never met a wolf that couldn't..."
ToT Amonir would love to teach him to play-fight and not get anyone hurt!timbre_wolfNovember 18 2011, 02:32:21 UTC
Amonir tilted his head. He knew that not everyone heard of his specific subrace, but to not know an elf... that was just odd. There was something off. "It's a medium humanoid race... I can talk to them, I just have to transform to look more like them. I don't know any illusion spells to avoid that."
Hahaha don't know if it's so much as a learned thing as much as SUPER POWERED SUPER WOLF!badatfetchNovember 18 2011, 03:12:02 UTC
"Humanoid? Tranform? You... can't just disguise yourself as one of them?"
This was... the oddest wolf he's ever seen... granted he had only ever seen three others- but they were all kind of strange. He felt like he could make assumptions.
Calm young grasshopper, you must learn to control your strength!timbre_wolfNovember 18 2011, 03:47:21 UTC
"No, I actually have to physically change. I'm a Lythari, so I'm not just a wolf, but an elf too. Watch!" He stepped back and transformed into his elf form with a rather proud smile on his face. He wasn't bothered by the fact that he had no clothes, but he also not exactly easily mistakable as a human. His skin was a light grey-purple colour and his ears came to a point.
He knelt and reached out his hand so Toboe could investigate. "It's not just an illusion, but a complete transformation. Have you really never seen a race like mine?"
Or he just needs to find a walrus too blow off some steam XDbadatfetchNovember 21 2011, 07:44:53 UTC
Toboe takes a cautious step forward to sniff the offered hand.... it was... a foreign smell, and this person... wolf... elf, whatever he was, wasn't like anything he had ever seen before.
"I-I honestly haven't. The closest thing I've ever seen to... someone like you is a human."
Ahahahaha <333timbre_wolfNovember 21 2011, 08:58:56 UTC
Amonir scratched Toboe's chin with a smile and a laugh. "They say humans descend in part from elves, and we consider them to be a young race that's still learning. Elves are pretty common where I am from, so it's odd to me that someone has never seen one! Lythari are quite a bit less common. Most lycanthrope tend to be worse off than rabid beasts, but we're born as both wolf and elf, so having both forms is as natural as howling!"
Amonir seemed relaxed, hoping to relax Toboe as well. He figured that he'd give Toboe another moment to see his elf form before transforming back again, so the wolf could find him no matter what form he took.
"I thought someone said human descended from wolves..."
It was an old legend, and a strange one, but that's what he had heard. Humans didn't really look like wolves at all... they looked closer to... this elf person.
Amonir shrugged, "Legend has it that a type of elves descended from us, but it is only one of many legends we have." He transformed back into a wolf and sat back on his haunches, a sort of smile playing across his face.
"You should follow me to a safe room. I just found one on this floor, and I'll explain everything I know. It's not much though." He stood up and started heading down the hallway, looking over his shoulder to check that the other wolf was following.
He might not be showing it too obviously, but Amonir was thrilled to have found a wolf, however strange he was. He had never been far from his own pack, and just having another friendly wolf meant a lot of comfort. "The name's Amonir, by the way!"
Amonir made his way to the Vanity Room and nosed it open. It wasn't the most comfortable room is his opinion, but it did hold a feeling of safety and comfort. He bounded over to the bed and pounced on it, laughing a bit at how it bounced. "Do you spend a lot of time around humans?" He was intrigued by the idea. He had heard about them and dealt with them in terms of business, but that wasn't like really living with them, or being familiar with their tools. The whole concept of a house was strange to him. "Is this what all their houses look like? Why do they use doorknobs? I didn't think they would be so troublesome!"
"Yeah, I grew up with one. She said she found me before even my eyes had opened. I lived with her all my life..."
That was, until she died. He sighed a bit, but then watched as the other wolf bounded onto the bed. He remembered Granny didn't like him on the furniture... but Granny wasn't here... and this wasn't her house. He would follow the rules she trained taught him, but he wouldn't correct the other wolf. So he just sat contently on the floor.
"Well, I don't think so. Granny's house was much smaller than this one. But it still had doors and stuff."
Amonir tilted his head a bit. "Since you were a pup? So you grew up in a house!" The tip of his tail flicked as he stretched into a more comfortable position on the soft covers. Why was it that he didn't take one of the more comfortable places, like a chair? The carpet was nice here, but the cushions in the room were so nice. "So you've never had a pack, have you?"
It was filled with fond memories too. There was a fire place he would sleep by, while Granny would sit in her rocking chair and knit. She liked to knit. He could always smell yarn all over the house... he missed it.
"Well... I've got some friends. We're all going to find paradise together! Well, we were before I ended up here..."

Toboe meekly follows the elf... wolf... person... he'd try to sort all that out in his head later.
"My name's Toboe."
