Mary had been in the parlor, sweating as she tried to find out just why the fire place was so hot. She was scared that one of the children would wander in here and get too close to the flames...if she could calm it down even partially she'd be content. It was too hot to get close though, any time she tried, it felt like she was about to stick her hand in a raging oven.

Attempting to get closer again, she was startled as the door was suddenly kicked open, the sound reverberating in the room.

Looking towards the now open door, she pushed a sweat soaked strand of hair back. "Pardon me? Who?" She'd never heard of anyone named Ichigo...but if he kept breaking doors down like that he'd just end up scaring someone.

Stepping back from the fireplace, she moved closer to the unnaturally pale individual. "I think you should go and find something else to do, I can't have you just breaking doors down like this." Who knew what kind of monsters he'd end up calling...

Looking annoyed the hollow glared at the woman who spoke up. Who the hell did she think she was? ...A better question was how the hell did she get into Ichigo's Inner World? She wasn't in his circle of friends at all.

"I think ya should shut the fuck up, woman. What the hell are ya doin' in here?"

Ichigo's mother? No... this woman was completely different and didn't match any of his King's memories at all. He must have lost it. It was doomed to happen eventually but that was the only logical conclusion that the hollow arrived at. His King had finally cracked.

Taken aback by his sharp language, she merely stared at him for a long moment. Did he just hell her to shut up? Oh no, no one spoke to her like that and didn't apologize for it. Crossing her arms, what amusement that may have been on her face melted away.

"I don't think it's any of you business what I'm doing in here. And as for you? You owe me an apology...I haven't done anything to warrant you speaking to me like that."

If she didn't allow people she knew to talk to her like that, like hell she'd let a complete stranger.

Did she just... The hollow was silent for a few brief moments before he burst out cackling. She seemed to think she could tell him what to do and despite his sour mood it amused him. With a wicked grin he lifted and tapped the giant blade on his shoulder almost thoughtfully, as if the weapon was a harmless thing.

"Apology? I don't owe ya nothin', woman. I don't know who the fuck ya are but ya don't belong here."

It was a tough decision whether to crush her or play with her. He didn't have the answers that he wanted but she was so insulted that she was told to shut her mouth...

She couldn't see what was so funny. She wasn't trying to be amusing, she was just wanting a small semblance of respect from the newcomer.

"Right now, you do owe me. I'm not the one breaking down doors and harassing people, it's you." His words did cause her to chuckle darkly though. "Do you honestly think that's news? I should be at home with my family, not here. All of us have somewhere else we belong."

Her eyes were drawn to that weapon though. She should count her losses and back down, but she was sure that he wouldn't do anything to her. He seemed to be all about intimidation.

"There's more of ya? Hee hee, I don't know how ya got here and I don't care about yer sob story... but I'll put ya out of yer damned misery if it'll get ya out of this world of his."

He brought the the sword down from his shoulder, pointing it at Mary with a smirk that was more feral. Whatever mental barrier this was the hollow would cut through all of them to find Ichigo and beat the living hell out of him. His damned King had some nerve winning over his powers and fucking up so badly.

"All of ya if this place is full of ya fuckers."

World of his? What the hell was he talking about? "Who? Do you know who's controlling this house?" Well well, if that was the case, things just took a turn.

Stepping forward, she paid no mind to the sword, stopping an inch from actually touching the weapon. She was still confident that he wouldn't actually hurt her.

"That won't be necessary. Killing people won't help matters." Not for him. Especially if he dared to touch any of the children or Dean.

She was pretty bold for a human.

"No... but it's fun~"

He pulled his arm back, intending to play with the woman, before swinging the large weapon at her. For some reason she seemed to think she could stand up to him... and he was curious. There were at least half a dozen things he could do that would make her wish she was dead but he kept his strength and speed in check for the moment. She didn't feel very powerful and even if she wasn't he'd have fun until he got bored and continued on his way to find his King.

He was cheated out after a kill, after all, and he wasn't about to let that slide.

Taking a breath as he pulled the sword back, she was prepared to challenge him on his statement. There was no reason to kill anyone here, especially the children.

Surprised as the sword came at her, her instincts kicked in and she fell back, avoiding the weapon.

Hitting the ground, she rolled back into a kneeling position on the floor. What the hell was wrong with him?! "What do you think you're doing?!" What was worse was that she didn't even have a weapon to match him.

Glancing around the room she tried to find anything...like...the fireplace poker. It would have to do.

Standing, she started discreetly backing up, hoping to grab the poker before he charged her again.

"Why are you doing this? We're all trapped, the same as you. We should be working together."

"Is that so? 's such a fuckin' shame I don't work well with others then~ "

The hollow advanced, taking his time and making no attempt to immediately kill her. He swiped the sword again almost casually, the blade biting into one of the chairs but he paid no heed to it as he watched the other hungrily.

"I tend to accidentally kill 'em..."

He was insane...that's all that there was to it. Backing up as he advanced, she was forced to stop as she hit the wall.

Feeling blindly behind herself, she felt momentarily victorious as her fingers wrapped around the iron poker. It wasn't much, but it was better than just rolling over and waiting for it to kill her. Raising the makeshift weapon in front of her, her eyes glanced towards the door behind him. If she could just make it past him, she could run to her room and hide there.

"You won't be killing me, I can tell you that right now. Now just leave and I won't have to hurt you." It was a bluff, but one that her life depended on.

He giggled at that and gestured at the weapon the woman was brandishing. "Hurt me? Well, if yer so hellbent... C'mon then~ "

The hollow beckoned her forward, more than willing to put her make-shift weapon to the test. He hoped she didn't think of running away. As much as he loved a good chase if the strange mental block got away from him he'd be no step closer to finding what he needed to.

Gritting her teeth as he called her bluff, she quickly weighed her options. She could attack him and then make a mad dash for the door...it honestly seemed like her only option.

Rushing forward, she brought the poker up and aimed for the side of his head. Without waiting to acknowledge if it connected or not, she tried to move past him, wanting to get through that door before he realized what just happened.

He barked a laugh at the woman's escape attempt, stepping back to avoid the poker. Who did she think she was dealing with? Waiting until she was nearly passed him the hollow's hand shot out to grab her hair.

"Aw, is that it?

Not expecting him to immediately go for the hair, she couldn't stop a sharp yelp as she was forced to stop suddenly. Not for the first time, she was cursing the fact her hair was such an easy target.

Keeping her senses as she fell back, she turned the poker, hoping to catch him in the side. Seeing as he made it clear that he intended to hurt her, she had no problems with either seriously injuring or killing him.

"'s so fuckin' rude to leave~"

He threw her back towards the fireplace, getting struck with the poker a moment before. He'd been through much worse but he looked to see what damage was done anyway. A rip in his Shihakushou and a wound on his side. There had to be more fighting spirit in the other if she was determined not to die.

"Look, ya got me... but ya promised to hurt me, woman. Gonna disappoint?"
