Rodney is a creature of habit, finding comfort in routine, but he's not so slavishly devoted to it that he can't adapt to changes. His old routine mostly involved work, and John, and his new routine is pretty much the same, though entirely different. Work's the same, except for the way Rodney can no longer concentrate on anything and so gets ( Read more... )

I found my voice again after part 5 sank in (which I posted over yonder, so please don't think I'm stalking you *g*). Seriously, this was the best read in a very very long time. Your Sheppard made me neurotic and compulsive about cleaning my own place. I'm very happy you started writing again (and boy did I need this after reading Flinch :-)).

Wow, I made you clean! That's like a super power! ;)

You know, I used to write happy endings all the time. And then I fel into SGA and the happy endings became fewer and farther between.

I like Flinch anyway. Even though it kind of hurts to read. I just like to think it hurts in a good way. :)

More like emptying the dishwasher and then running back to the computer to read fic, BUT STILL!! *g*

I very much enjoyed Flinch, but yes, it hurt. Beautifully written though.

HaHaHa. I can't help myself. Maisie has been writing madly, and nearly daily, for the past year. "Forget Me Not" came out of that pile of Words.

How long is that WIP multiple stories file now, Maisie?

She's promised to pick up working on one next that was all generated from me wanting to see John in black leather. Only, Maisie has taken it a lot further than that. She's world-building again. :)

About 300 pages. ::sigh:: And that's after I stripped out all the stuff that's actually gotten finished. So it's literally 300 pages of unfinished fic. Enough to make me weep!

No crying! Glass half full. Look at all those fics that are half finished instead of no fics to work on at all. You're halfway there!

I have to squint at it to see it that way ...
