While I was meeting with my Astronomy professor yesterday afternoon to discuss my research paper topic, he got a phone call. His end of the conversation sounded like this:

Ethan: Physics Department, this is Ethan.
Pause.
Ethan: I am an astrophysicist, yes.
Pause.
Ethan: Yes.
Pause.
Ethan: I'm sorry you're scared, but...
Pause.
Ethan: ...but I am meeting with students for the next hour and a half. Could you call me back at three?
Pause.
Ethan: The world won't end before then, you have nothing to be worried about.
