Brooklyn Rundfunk Orkestrata
I'm not usually one to go about promoting CDs and such, but if you haven't checked out the Brooklyn Rundfunk Orkestrata's 'The Hills Are Alive', I highly recommend it. They've done unique jazz/blues/country/funky covers and such of a bunch of Sound of Music stuff and - I can't begin to describe how incredible it is or just how it works.
