Being on crutches at school maybe isn't so bad after all. I can be late to every class, I get special treatment from teachers, I get to use the elevator, and I can make people carry my books for me.
The first day back at school I went to get an elevator key, but apparently you only need it for the D-wing elevator. I stood in front of the F-wing elevator for a good five minutes, trying to jam a key into a weirdly shaped keyhole that didn't turn out to be a keyhole after all.
Between third and fourth hour, there is a party in the elevator! Yesterday we fit seven people in the elevator (I claimed I needed all of them for moral support), and it was so awesome that Mr. Stresman came over and asked if he could come. I think we set a record for the number of people to fit in the elevator. People were really confused as all seven of us walked out of the elevator at once. Today, was slightly less entertaining, although Beth did comment that the elevator smells like crayons.
After sixth hour, Chris Faller rides the elevator downstairs with me and then walks back up the stairs to his class. It's pretty exciting for him.
Why is crazy Liz always on crutches? Shana, the name is catching on. She made eye contact with me in the hall today because she thought it was funny that we were both on crutches.
But hopefully, I won't need them for much longer. I can walk with a pretty noticeable limp, but I don't mind. My armpits have suffered enough. My arms are nicely toned though.
Bio test wasn't too bad, for those of you who skipped. I really like Mr. Rhude. He's writing me a great recommendation letter for Med Scholars.
