oh no. oh no.
i stayed up very late last night to finish some assignments. i think it was almost 4 when i went to bed. i have to wake up at 6:45 for school.
ok, so i didn't wake up until almost 8... ok, so really 8:20 because it took me that long to actually keep my eyes open. so, i feed the cats, toast a bagel, and run the bath water. i run all hot water because it's a little chilly in here. okok. so the tub is filled. i go back to the kitchen to prepare the fabulous honeybutter and lingonberry/blueberry/raspberry preserve wonder-bagel.
THEN I HEARD A SPLASH AND PLOP!!!
this apartment is tiny. the kitchen and bathroom are only 6 or 7 steps away but it felt like forever until i got to the tub. all i see is my little metal all soggy. soaked from head to tail. i quickly wrapped him up in a towel and took him to the bedroom, put the dehumidifier on full blast, and held him. the heat is broken in the apt. and it gets cold in here. colder than outside. i had to keep him warm. he's only a little over 2 lbs. oh, my little cat... so... i missed my train. i couldn't leave him.
the next train wouldn't have gotten me to class on time so i just stayed in bed with metal and dried/warmed him. he's fine now. we both fell asleep.
i didn't go to my second class bc we had an optional field trip. most girls wouldn't be there. i'm going to try taking that bath now. after that, i'm heading home to see my mom. i really need to see little girl. i miss her so much.
