All of those sound like good activities to do today.

I baked one of my pygmy cakes this evening. I took a package of blueberry cheesecake muffin mix and added a small sweet potato to it (after I microwaved it soft).
Not too sweet and just enough for the pair of us and a snack sometime tomorrow.

It is just past 2:30 in the morning, and I had the worst time figuring out that you meant you had microwaved the sweet potato to soften it, and not that you microwaved the blueberry cheesecake muffin mix before adding sweet potato. Lol!

I'm an early riser, but too evidently not quite this early.

Makes me wonder how many other people have gotten confused by the way I've written something down here on LJ over the years?

Probably not very many. Your writing is pretty clear, you know.

But English construction can be...well, confusing. I still remember a neighbor who insisted on dropping by one evening with an armload of George Carlin records, and said neighbor just about had a seizure over a phrase used by the character Mr. Carlin was portraying in one of his sketches: "...the clerk at the drugstore with acne." [Odd, isn't it, that I still remember that particular phrase!]

Well, grammatically, it works.
But it is unclear whether it is the clerk or the drugstore suffering from acne.
That, however, is how our language, ah, performs.

As for my own confusion this morning, I'm awake when I ought not be and when I'd rather not be. Big male cat was hungry, but also back to vomiting, and this time we think it's because both of us fell asleep before midnight and slept like rocks until "something" woke us up before the cat got sick to his tummy, and that his medications were given off-schedule last night and this morning.
