tomorrow looks to be a rather busy day for my LONE day off. 2 work parties and one button making party. all three between 9 am and 5 pm. so much for me sleeping in. i have it planned out: park duties in the morning, friend house fixer-upper in the early afternoon, and button making to end it all.

somewhere in the next couple weeks i get to plan the flower beds at the park AND make executive decisions on hardware to buy for the park to make volunteering to water & take care of plants in said planters at the park easier. know i need to get a gardening cart, fertilizer, water transporting device and watering devices. as ester beautification day is june 6th, i figure i have until then to do all this figuring out and get it accomplished. a couple people have said they will assist me in looking at varying places around town to check out plant ideas and get suggestions from professionals. fertilizer will be easy as the neighbours up the street had horses and the horse shit has been seasoned for years and shouldn't hold much in the way of crud. neighbour across the street said that he may be able to get us a tank of some sort. this will make going to get water much easier. gardening cart shouldn't be all that hard to find, just have to do some price shopping. and watering devices are the easiest to come by. i've been using old juice jugs for the last couple years. might as well keep using those.

i've been given a few suggestions by people who regularly use the park as to flowers. had a few suggestions for ideas to go around the storage shed. it was mentioned that the outside of the shed gets used as well as the inside. so that may have to be figured out in the future as to rain collection devices and the like. untill then, if we can start with just a few things and work our way towards the rain barrels it will be fabulous.

this here is probably one of the incredibly thing that has happened this week.
