Alright,
jmj129 was pestering me this morning to update, but work is a little busy in the mornings, so bullet points are all you get. Nya!
The Saints game was way fun. Lots of free stuff, and lots of laughs. And they won. I rock at baseball.
I jogged a whole mile at the gym on Sunday. Jogged. The whole thing. At 5mph. That's literally the first time in my life I've ever jogged a mile, including as a kid. I rock at the gym.
I heard an ad for the State Fair on the radio this morning. Their website promises to have the food finder up today as well. I'm only slightly obsessed. (Why yes, I do have it bookmarked on my work computer, thanks for asking!)
I got my lab results back from the doctor. Good news and bad news. Bad news is we still don't know what's causing the dizziness (unless it's related to fatigue), and my thyroid might be slightly underactive (causing the aforementioned fatigue) but since I don't really feel TIRED, nor do I really have any of the other symptoms to an excessive degree, I don't feel the need to be medicated. Good news is everything else (and there were a lot of tests) seems to be well within good ranges. My cholesterol is 133 (HDL is 43, only slightly low) and I don't have Lymes disease, so all is well.
Money is the DEVIL. I'm stressed about it, because it seems to be disappearing too quickly, and of course that makes me EAT. I've been eating non-stop lately, which kind of sucks, so the weight loss thing is not going to splendidly either, but I'm stickin' with it as best I can.
My boss is on vacation for two weeks, which is also "teh suck."
My lawn is not nearly as brown as it was this time last year (since we didn't water even once last year) which is nice. And the rain=also nice.
My neighbor left a grocery bag on our front door with a post-it that said "I hope you like tomatoes" and four garden grown tomatoes for us the other day. That was very nice, and I'm making an effort to eat them, but being the rotten non-social animal I am, I am unsure of the etiquette involved in thanking her. I don't see her much since she's retired, and mostly outside during then day when I'm not home, and I feel silly just marching over there and knocking on her door. So I'm officially a rotten neighbor.
Now I have to get back to work. And actually work. At work. Blah.
