It's not like I'm remotely as productive as most of my fellow fans and writers, but since this journal is beginning to look a bit untidy (as, I am afraid to say, most of the things I'm in charge of do sooner or later), it's probably a good idea to collect all my fiction in one post and stick it to the top of the page. So, here goes!
Mainecoon's Fanfiction
.. is almost exclusively mostly about Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson as they live on in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's works, though I've recently dipped my toes into the Hobbit fandom (still in the Minority Interest section, though). This is what I have to offer, starting with the most recent works:
A Matter of Integrity (G): It is a curious thing when a celebrity whom you’ve never truly met is widely considered your most prominent suitor. Irene Norton sets out in search of some answers, and discovers that sometimes the truth is a delicate matter. Irene Adler/Godfrey Norton, Holmes/Watson, both established relationships.

Promises to Keep (PG-13): One day during their long years of exile in the Ered Luin, Thorin and Dwalin are surprised by a thunderstorm while travelling on a perilous mountain path. They receive unexpected aid - but not all things are as they seem, and Dwalin is forced to face more than one terrifying truth. Hobbit fanfic, Thorin/Dwalin again.
Where Dark Things Sleep (NC-17): They have shared their passions and dreams for over a century, and they were closer than brothers. Now they have taken back the mountain and their boldest fantasies have come true, but their world is falling apart. Hobbit fanfic, Thorin/Dwalin, pretty angsty.
The Merits of Poetic Licence (PG-13): The quality of writing is disagreed upon, and Watson proves himself to be an unreliable narrator. Eventually, though, Holmes comes to realize that the liberal use of poetic licence may occasionally lead to quite favourable results. Holmes/Watson, humour.

Storyteller (PG): On a nightly winter journey in the year 1881, John Watson discovers his gift of storytelling. Unfortunately he doesn't know yet that some tales ought to be told with caution... Holmes/Watson friendship, slash goggles advised.

The End of a Journey (PG): An old enemy applies for Holmes' help and possesses the means to ensure the unwilling detective's cooperation. While Holmes follows the trail back to a murder that was never avenged, Watson finds himself doubting his own concepts of justice and retribution. Holmes/Watson established relationship.

The Relevance of Goodness (G): One friend offers him safety, the other believes him dead. At the end of the day Victor Trevor begins to understand Sherlock Holmes' decision. Hiatus fic. Holmes/Watson with past Holmes/Trevor; both can be read as friendship if you'd rather do so.

Also brilliantly podficced by
hardboiledbaby :
at her journal Through a Glass, Darkly (PG): "I feel that I am looking into a dusty mirror, and looking back at me is a twisted image of myself. It is the image of a man I could have become... Perhaps it is even the image of the man I am destined to be." Watson wrote down the events leading up to Reichenbach, but sometimes even those who are closest to us are not privy to our deepest secrets. This is Holmes' POV. Holmes/Watson, Moriarty, mention of Watson/Mary.

The Strange Case of the Ruby Crucifix (R): A politician dies, Lestrade hunts for vampires, Holmes eagerly anticipates a night watch at the cemetery, and Watson's war wound has an unexpected relevance. Holmes/Watson established relationship.

The Adventure of the Lost Seaman. Part I - Part II (PG-13): My take on the "Friesland" case. Shortly after Holmes' return from the Hiatus, the Baker Street duo is engaged by a client with an unwelcome connection to the detective's own past. Adventure with a little romance on the side, canon-based. Holmes/Watson, freshly established relationship.
Written for... no, just written.
Regrets (G): During forty-five years of being a barkeeper in a city like Chicago, you make some very remarkable acquaintances. Prequel to "Precious", set during Holmes' time in America just before "His Last Bow". Holmes/... but that is in the eye of the beholder.
Precious. An Epilogue of His Last Bow (PG): Just what it says on the label; fix-it for the end of the series, kept as canon-compatible as possible. Also my very first fanfic. Holmes/Watson.
And the only one which is (mostly) based on the BBC series:
Blueprint (PG): John cannot fathom why, even given the circumstances, he should be facing something as pathetic as an existential crisis. But a very strange encounter sets things into a new perspective. Gen.
All links (except for the Ruby Crucifix, because LJ doesn't cooperate for some reason) are indirect and lead to my respective LJ posts, which in turn lead on to the original post if the fic is stored elsewhere.

General Information
Not much to say here, except that
a) this journal contains adult stuff and most of the fic has slashy content. If that sort of thing disturbs you, you'd better have fun elsewhere although in that case you probably wouldn't have found me in the first place.
b) friending is fine, though I don't automatically friend back because I do have some personal stuff under the f-lock. I'll probably snoop around your journal, though, and I like to get acquainted if someone's interested.
c) in the unlikely case of podficcers feeling inspired by anything I've written (that hasn't been podficced so far), you have a blanket permission. I love podfic. Just tell me of it so I can squee appropriately.
Otherwise, nice to meet you, and I hope you like my humble virtual home.
