Christmas was good this year, but just good. Perhaps it would have been better if it actually felt like it was Christmas time. Needless to say, however, I simply had a wonderful christmas time :)
Perhaps the most fulfilling thing to me, however, was an awkward dream I had last night. It didn't make much sense, but a brief moment of it did have some meaning to it, and a new feeling of completeness came about. Courage, perhaps? Motivation? Determination? Reassurance? All of the above, I guess you could say. And for that I'm glad. The best gift you could say I got came from my own mind. Weird. The timing was just perfect, I guess.
As far as material possessions? I'm pretty happy. Didn't get a lot of the stuff I asked for, but I got some new clothing which is good. Got a boat load of CD's and a single DVD...Snatch...asked for Kill Bill 2 but didn't get that, but I'm not worried about it.
So here's what I got:
Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 (power supply for my many effect pedals for guitar)
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - Deja Vu
CSNY - 4 Way Street (have to return it...already have it)
The Slip - Aliveelectric
The Slip - Aliveacoustic
The Slip - Does
The Slip - Angels Come On Time (asked for these so I could have them instead of just burned copies...support your artists!...and I didn't have aliveelectric)
Joe Pass - Virtuoso
The Beatles - Let It Be (twice...gotta return one...probably for Rubber Soul)
The Beatles - The White Album
Led Zeppelin - How the West Was Won
The Band - the Best Of
Snatch
Ski bag for my skis I bought last month (going skiing tuesday!)
Bunch of new clothing
$30 Gift Card to Nashua Garden!
New computer chair
Stocking Stuffers including picks, guitar stuff, random food and the like
Let It Be Poster
mini Black light
Jack Daniels poster (from my sister...wtf? haha alright cool)
And that about sums it up. Good times, to say the least.
Hopefully dreams will become realities. More than hopefully. I've got to make something of it...bah...enough of that.
I've got an interview at Daniel Webster College on Tuesday at 1, so wish me luck as that's my top school (aviation++), and I think I'm going skiing afterwards. Anyone know of any good mountains that offer night skiing besides Gunstock and Pats Peak? I've been to Gunstock, and it was pretty good there, and Pats Peak blows. Input is always welcome.
Merry Christmas, everyone.
