she still lives, just not so much in lj land
so i spent prolly the last 20 minutes catching up and posting a few comments. then i got bored. so i am posting a big "hello, and i didn't die" type entry. muchos apologies for not posting for like a long time. but nothing exciting in life happened
besides:
- getting a bf
- him dumping me for ambiguous reasons poorly explained (i don't mind the breaking up part so much, but the poor execution bothers me)
- graduating college
- moving home
- getting a car
- getting a cell phone
- temping
- finishing my thesis (ha, i pulled it off!)
- read Wicked <-- highly recommended
- finished grad apps
- cleaned highschool out of my life
yeah, so nothing of consequence, right?
so you may ask: how are you feeling now and what are your plans for the future?
well, i am missing fredonia, bored due to lack of homework, but then loving the lack of homework (i have the 3gen book club and redoing my room to keep me busy ), anxious about getting a job that is decent, excited because i am getting interviews. I am planning on visiting fredonia, making my room uber-cool, getting a sweet job, making lots of money, going somewheres cool in my car or on a plane, and then grad school. i am really looking forward to it. working in the real world with all these people whose conversations consist of kids, husbands, tv, furnaces, and radio show gossip do not cut it. i don't want a critique of "the bachelorette" or "lost" everyday, and for the last time i am not married and don't have kids!!! i am 21, that ain't happening for a loooong time!
so kids, enjoy college!!!!! it is a hell of a lot more fun than working with the aforementioned types.
oh, and i miss all the nerds. i am not in my element working with the ladies. :P
