is this assurance that he is over her? that he is ready to pursue something new? i just don't know. it sounds like no, yet actions say something different. i don't want to be just some girl that a boy likes because i am a girl. been there, done that, too many times. i refuse to do it again! i refuse! my battered little bit of self-esteem cannot take another one of these.

that isn't convincing either. it sounds like a break to get it on with other people and then go back. i have never used that line. it leaves hope. why give hope when there is none? or is there?
