Arashi fans are......
As some of my LJ friends already know, I am currently enjoying OOR's music. As I was sidetracked to this new fandom, I realized one thing..... Arashi fans are soooooo spoiled and spoon fed. In fact, I think Arashi fans are the most spoiled fans in the J-world.
Arashians have community for almost everything. From raw files, magazine scans, translations, English subbed videos, concerts, live performances, TV guestings, daily News about them, concert reports, community where you can ask everything about them, and many many many more...
So I was spoiled in the fandom, and I did took them for granted and I know I wasn't thankful enough because I think I haven't realized until now the HUGE help everyone is bringing to the fellow fans. It's been just 2 months since I got to know OOR and my files related to them in my computer is not even close to 15GB, while when I was new in Arashi fandom, those 2 months gave me around 100GB of files.. I need to contribute more to the Arashi fandom to give back to those who have given too much, and I also need to contribute MUCH MORE to the OOR fandom since they are definitely lacking some help..
It's not that easy to find OOR guestings/videos, let alone a subbed one. The concerts of these rockers aren't easy to find too. I have to dig Google for it, and even ask strangers where to find them. Yes there are some sources but they are not easy to find and I doubt there's nearly half of all the shows they did online. I found tons of videos in the Chinese websites! Well damn! Yay!
Also, when I was in Japan, it's sooooooo hard to find OOR related things, other than the music stores, there's almost nothing.. But one thing I like about them is that they are so approachable and people can have encounter with them and I've never heard any bad experience/stories about their behavior towards fans. And they do European, US and Asian tour too! My fandom bestfriend pink_cat_39d was lucky enough to watch them live. And they can speak ENGRISH!! Lol. Takang's so good at it.
