Watched the movie Debikuro-kun no koi to mahou!! I was supposed to watch it with
smurfette but because of some misunderstandings and absense of the internet in place, we werent able to meet. :(
Anyways, it has always been in my bucket list to watch movie alone. So at least I got to do that.

I wasn't really able to visit Shibuya. How was it? Yeah I saw the illumination. It was really beautiful but it's nothing compared to Yebisu Garden Place's illumination(I'm biased about it. Lol) I think so too! Aiba would visit Roppongi Hills this month for his movie event.
Yebisu is my favorite place in Tokyo. It's so beautiful! It's so big too! What's your favorite place? ^_^
Aw. I wasn't able to catch it too since it was shown the day before I arrive in Japan. I guess we'll have to wait for the subs! Haha.
Do you roam around Japan alone? I do too but I sometimes don't know where to go and stuff. Lol. and during my last days in Tokyo, I always go out past 1pm. Where do you go from Morning until the evening? I usually go to 2 destinations, and max of 3 and after that I will be so tired! Have you slept in the train?

Shibuya is nice! It's definitely a must go/see place for anyone who is a traveling to Tokyo. There are lots of things to see and shop there. There's a forever 21, tokyu hands, 109 mall, 3coins and many more shops. I went to Shibuya 3 times when I was there, lol. The Johnny's family club is also in Shibuya...just about a 10 minute walk from the Shibuya station. I went there and took a lot of pictures. XD I haven't shared that on the _yamapi community yet, maybe I'll get to it when I have time. I also recorded a video inside there too!
I've never been to Yebisu Garden actually but I know the place! It is definitely beautiful there. They filmed a few scenes from there in the Hana Yori Dango drama! It was on my to go places in Tokyo but I didn't end up having time to go there. I plan on going there during my next trip though! =) My faovurite place in Tokyo is Odaiba, lol. It is simply beautiful there and soooo many things to do that spending one whole day there is not enough. I was there for a whole day from morning to night, lol. Oh ya, did you end up going to Odaiba to visit the Fuji TV Building?
Yes I'll have to watch it with subs. So many dramas I need to catch up on and finish, lol. I just finished watching this new one called Dear Sister.
I did roam around in Japan alone for like 5 days. My friend came to join me on the other part of my trip so it wasn't so bad. You don't know where to go? There are so many places to go in Japan that it is countless, lol. Oh, you didn't go out until past 1pm? I guess you needed the sleep from the jet lag right? XD I tried to go out as early as possible because I want to maximize and make use of my time there. I already planned my whole itinerary when I was there with all the places I want to go to and their opening and closing hours. Most places in Japan don't open until 10 or 11am so I usually go out about that time. It depends on where I am going that day, so I plan my time to leave the hotel accordingly to that. But I don't stay out late though, I usually head back to the hotel the latest at about 8:30 or 9pm. The latest I have stayed out was 10pm. I only go to 2 destinations per day too and maybe 3 if I have time for it, lol. I mostly eat out for lunch and then I eat combini bento for dinner and take it back to the hotel cuz I have a microwave there to heat up my food, lol. I saved a lot of money on food eating combini bentos for dinner. XD Nope, I've never slept on the train before. It's was really strange, I was soooo jet lagged (I only get like max 4-5 hours of sleep every night when I was there) but I would be so wide awake whenever I go out. Must be the Japan magic because there are so many things to see that you don't feel tired at all, LOL! Too much excitement I guess, haha.
How long were you in Japan for? Maybe next time if we happen to be going to Japan at the same time, we could meet up and go to places together. It is always good to have company but I also enjoyed my alone time when I was there too. I think Japan is actually a really safe country to travel alone in. Nobody would rob you or hurt you. People are so nice and friendly there! ^___^

I must go to Shibuya on my next visit then. I'll wait for your post in _yamapi community! I'm gonna use them on my next visit! :))
I only went to Yebisu to see the place where Doumyouji sat and waited for Makino. Didn't expected much and I was stunned when I saw the place!
No I wasn't able to. I planned to go there on my last day, but when I was on the train, I found out I forgot my phone which has your direction and all the information about the place. I was too lazy to go back to the hotel so I ended up visiting the places I've been to, I visited Yebisu again I think. I'll definitely visit it again next year! :D
I saw one episode of Dear Sister on TV while I was in Japan, I barely watched it, I just kept the TV open waiting for any JE CMs. Haha. Is Dear Sister good? I'm horrible but I haven't watched My Boss, My Hero. Is it good?
I don't experienced jet lag, lol. There's only 1 hour difference in my country and Japan's time. I don't know, I easily got tired in Tokyo. I want to go out as early as possible too but I just can't. Good for you to stick to your plan! :)
Lol! I did the same. Brunch outside and dinner at the hotel. It's also amazing how the bentos cut off price after 9pm or 10pm? Huge discount! :D
I spent 13 days, we are only allowed to stay max of 15 days. :( But on my next visa application I'll apply for 2 months max of stay. How about you? How long did you stay in Japan?
Well, I told you in my message that I am planning to watch Arashi con so that's Nov-Dec. Are you planning to go there again after your April visit? :)
Japan is a really safe country. I never felt that I'm in danger or something even if I always go home late.
BTW, I appreciate your long messages! Lol. Thank you for taking your time to talk to me. :) I hope we can hang out in Japan next year! :D

Ya you should visit Shibuya at least once, it's really cool there! =)
Hahaha that's the exact same reason why I want to go to Yebisu....to sit at the same spot where Doumyouji sat at. XD
Odaiba is really amazing! I am planning to go back again during my next trip too. Maybe I'll even go there for 2 days next time, lol.
Dear Sister is pretty good. It's pretty entertaining and funny and I like both the lead actress in it. They actually filmed the drama at this tree house cafe that I also went to when I was in Tokyo. So everytime I watch the drama, I'm reminded of the tree house cafe, lol! They only filmed at the outside of the tree house cafe though cuz it is actually REALLY small inside it so it is impossible for them to film inside the cafe. They made a fake drama set of the inside in the drama though but it looks nothing like the inside of the real tree house cafe. XD OMG you haven't watched My Boss My Hero? IT IS HILARIOUSSS! You must watch it. That drama made me fell in love with Nagase Tomoya from TOKIO. He's a really great actor! Gakky is also soooo cute in it. I kind of wish Yamapi would star in a drama with Nagase Tomoya again. They did one about 10+ years ago.
WHAT?! You only have one hour difference time with Japan's time? Where you do live? You must live in Asia don't you? lol. I live like soooo far away from Japan. I have a 13 hours difference from Japan's time...they are 13 hours ahead of me. That's why I can't afford to go there too often because my flight ticket alone cost over $1200. I bet your flight ticket would be so much cheaper because you live so much closer. I wish I live in Asia sometimes so I can fly to Japan more often and for cheaper too! =( I'd go there like 3 times per year, lol. I can only afford to go like once per year if I really save up money to go.
Yes, there was a supermarket nearby my hotel and omg the bento dinners sooo cheap after 9pm! <3
Oh do you need to apply for a visa to visit Japan from your country? I don't need to apply for a visa but I can only stay there maximum up to 90 days. I stayed for 14 days only. On my next trip I might stay longer for like 18 days to see cherry blossoms, since I don't know when exactly it will bloom so I'm giving myself a few extra days just in case, lol.
Oh I'm not planning to go back next year in April, I am going back April 2016! lol. That's almost 2 years away from now. Next year I am planning to take a short trip to Europe to Paris and London. But I'd seriously love to go to Japan when it is winter near x'mas with the christmas illumination lights and everything. It always looks sooo pretty from the pictures I see online that it has become my dream to go to Japan one year during x'mas. Maybe I'll go to Hokkaido and then Tokyo, lol.
Ya I hope we can hang out in Japan too if we both somehow end up going during the same time. It'd be really nice to meet people who have common interest as myself. =)

I feel like Shibuya is just full of shopping malls with expensive stuff. Lol. I'm not really into shopping. I'd visit it next time!!! I want to visit Hachikooo!
You should also walk into the place they held their wedding. I'm not sure if the red carpet is always there, but walking on the red carpet feels magical. Lol.
Odaiba is that amazing? It's a must visit then. I'll definitely visit it next time!!! Thanks for the reco.
Tree House cafe? Where exactly in Tokyo? Are the drinks in Tree House Cafe good too?
Currently downloading My Boss My Hero. It's too big! 8GB. And there are only few seeders so still waiting. :D I'm currently watching Shingeki no Kyojin. Have you watched it?
Yeah. I live in Asia! Haha. $1200 is too expensive. I availed an early ticket price, bought it on January, flight is Nov, it only costs me around $200 but normal rates would be around $500 if I didn't availed the promo. Although it's cheaper, I think your salary is much much higher than our salary rates here. Lol. So it balances out I think..
Yeah. We need visas. But after the first used Japanese visa, they will give you 5 years multiple visa on the 2nd visa application so it's good enough. Planning to apply this Feb!!
Just 18 days? Why not stay there for a month? Or about 45 days?
Aww. That's a long wait. Why??? I planned to go to Europe next year too, but after my Japan trip I changed my plans and opted to just stay in Japan for about a month next year! It's so addicting. I don't need to see Eiffel Tower or some sort, lol. Japan is heaveeeen!
By the way, let's do some intro. Lol. I'm Mai, 23 and currently works as research analyst. I roam around JE idols for dramas but I only listen to Arashi and One Ok Rock for music. But I used to stan Pi more than Arashi about 8 years ago, unfortunately college life interfere and I stopped everything on the fandom, and I was back just last last year to the fandom when I watched Hanadan and got addicted to Arashi. Lol. How about you?

Haha Shibuya is full of shopping but I also think it's a very exciting place to visit too. Especially the Shibuya 109 crossing. It's actually not all that expensive to shop in Shibuya, it depends on where you go shop I guess. But the food places there are amazing too if you don't like to shop but would like to eat at some cool places. I visited Hachiko, he's just right outside of the station when you take the Hachiko exit from Shibuya station, lol.
Ya I am planning to go there too. I bet it will be sooo magical! My friend gave me this pamphlet with all the places in Tokyo that they filmed dramas in and I wanna visit so many of them, lol. Did you know that Nobuta wo Produce also filmed a scene in Odaiba too? Right in front of the Fuji TV Building, lol.
Yup, the tree house cafe is called Les Grands Arbres. It's located in the Minato-ku. They even showed it in the Generation Tengokou show hosted by Yamapi. I first saw it on the show and thought it was sooo interesting that I wanted to go there. The drinks are ok. I like the dessert more. I think what's attracting about the place is the atmosphere and the layout of it. It's very fairy-like like the ones you'd see in Japanese animes, lol. Here is a blog with some pictures and directions on how to get there if you are interested in going: http://thetokyostreet.com/item/les-grands-arbres/
Ah ya it's an old drama so I think that's why less people seed it. You can always stream it though on dramacrazy. Nope, I haven't watched Shingeki no Kyojin, is it good?
Omg $500?! That's soooo cheap!!! I wish I could pay that little for flight tickets to Japan, I'd go 3 times per year if it was that cheap, lol. I bought my flight tickets during low rate seasons too and that's the cheapest I can get it for. I don't think it ever goes below $1000 for Japan flying from my country. It can actually go up to over $2000 during high rates season like in the summmer, april for sakura and christmas time. I think it's because I live really far from Japan so the flight ticket is much more expensive. But I actually have a friend who works as a flight attendant though and she can get standby tickets for $300 only to fly to anywhere in the world. We were originally planning to go back in February to Hokkaido on standby since it is sooo cheap and she can buy me tickets for $300 but we have to request vacation days off at the same time and it's a bit hard to book time off together...that's why we pushed it off. Maybe we'll go at another time when it works out for both of us though. She said she will go to Japan with me again though. =D
I can only request up to 3 weeks of vacation at my workplace that's why. I would love to go for longer than that since 2-3 weeks is not enough time to go to all the places I wanna go to in Japan. Oh well, it means I will have to make more frequent visits there, lol. I also need a day or two to rest and catch up on sleep first before I head back to work again when I come back because of the jet lag I get. XD
Hahaha I just want to go to Europe at least once in my life. I am planning to maybe go with my family and my mom wants to tour a lot of places in Europe. I just mainly want to go to Paris and London. But ya it probably won't be an expensive trip since I don't plan to shop there...just going there for the sight seeing and pictures.
