I just got back from my sister's speech thing, and they were doing like little mini plays and original works and such, and my sister's best friend Charlotte wrote an amazing piece that I just had to post about. I didn't know it was an original piece, and as she was acting it out I thought it was like.. Emily Dickinson or something. It was amazing. My sister said she's get a transcript tomorrow, so I can't wait. I wish I'd filmed it. It was amazing. Apparently she based the whole thing on a poem by Emily Dickinson called The Heart Asks Pleasure First. It was soooooo amazing. Can't even describe it.
My sister, her boyfriend, Charlotte, and some other friend of theirs did the Mad Tea Party scene from Alice in Wonderland, which was awesome. Charlotte was Alice, my sister was the Mad Hatter, her boyfriend was the March Hare, and the other friend was the Dormouse. It was highly awesome. Again, wish I filmed it. My sister and her boyfriend even did nice English accents and sounded passably crazy.
