Okay, so high school's really confusing. There are a kajillion different staircases and I always get off on the wrong floor and I was late for all my classes because I kept getting lost and the seniors are scary in the hallways.
And today seemed so long, even though for the morning we just had a bunch of assemblies and then in the afternoon we went through our classes for just 15 minutes each. So physics seems pretty hard, but the teacher seems nice, algebra seems fine, English looks fine, Holocaust studies looks really interesting but a bit intimidating because I'm the only freshman, French was hilarious because the guy was only speaking French and since no one's practiced for the whole summer we have no idea what he's saying, and he made lots of funny hand gestures. The only thing I'm really dreading is technical theatre, which sucks because I thought that would be really fun. My family has known the theatre director for like evar, and he was really happy that I signed up for a class, but I'm the only girl and the rest is junior and senior guys. And they all laughed at me when I came in. I was pretty much crying during that whole bit, so I think I'm going to try to switch out of that and do ceramics or something. My friend has a studyhall that period, so she said she'd try to switch in, which I really hope works out. Because it was the most embarrassing and awkward thing ever to happen at school. And it was like 100 degrees today. wtf, random heatwave.
