faith
Let me tell you something about faith.
It's not about a Christian god and it's not going to make sense. I cannot eloquently put into words my personal definition of faith. You can also forget defining higher beings or gods. =)
What I can tell you is faith is the belief that everything's going to be okay and that life can actually be happy. so even when bad things in life happen, such as losing people that are incredibly important to you, you at least have that safety net. faith is the belief that everything happens for a reason. For some things, you have absolutely no control over the end results.
So I have my shield called faith. It isn't meant to be religious and it might not even be linked to a singular or a multiple god. All I can say is I'm happier believing that something or someone else is out there observing everything that's happening today. big things, little things, sad things, happy things. whatever the case, the entire world is not alone.
