Glee 2.06 "Never Been Kissed"
I forgot to comment about 2.05 "The Rocky Horror Glee Show" but never mind anymore, THIS EPISODE IS WHAT TOOK THE CAKE BABY!!!!
In a nutshell, my reaction to the highlight of this episode:
Okay I'll confess. I like Karosky. I mean, yeah, he's the bullying jock and I get defensive (in my mind) whenever he bullies Kurt or Finn. But I'm always those people who love villains, remember? And well, Karofsky is more on the cute side for me. So anyway. Basically.
THIS IS THE ~*~BEST~*~ PLOT TWIST FOR ME.
Really, Glee never gave us any OMGSHOCK!! plot twists so far but THIS IS FINALLY THAT SHOCKING MOMENT FOR ME. I mean, I joked to myself before that it'd be funny if Karofsky has a crush on Finn but THIS? I DIDN'T SEE IT COMING. I'm a slasher for God's sake, HOW BLIND COULD I BE!? I mean, Kurt's like the cutest little boy in the school and I thought it's weird how NOBODY crushed on him before. WELL, EVERYTHING MAKES SENSE NOW HAHAHAHAH.
Peeking through the discussion threads and all, people seem to be disapproving of this pairing. As for me, I can understand where Karofsky stands a bit. I don't go as far as bullying but I'm the type to tease or be rude to the people I crush on rather than be nice to them, so I know how complicated it can get. Basically, Karofsky just isn't handling it well. If someone can guide him the way Blaine is guiding Kurt or Finn guiding Rachel, I'm sure he can be a better person too, you know? ... Maybe? Anyway, let's not think about this deep and conclude over the fact that I FIND THIS PAIRING CUTE.
So. Karofsky/Kurt? YOU GET MY THUMBS UP, BBs. :DDD
Don't get me wrong, I find Blaine/Kurt very cute too. I missed Kurt smiling so happily like that. :) Finn/Kurt may still be my OTP so I feel a bit betrayed to see him giving that smile to someone other than Finn but it doesn't matter anymore. Deep down I'm still a bigger fan of Kurt than of pairings so I'm just happy with whoever he's happy with. If Blaine/Kurt becomes canon, I'll support them.
Fave pairing-wise, though, I have my eyes on Karofsky/Kurt at the moment, hahahah...
Fave performances are "Teenage Dream" and the boys' mash-up at the end. :) Also, I'm impressed how they cut down to only 4 songs in this episode. Finally it feels less bombarded with songs for a change. I guess those who prefer the songs over the plot may complain, but I'm all okay with it.
