[PFIII] Eron Winfield [Akatsuhara]
Mmm, people are talking about their PF3 characters on their LJs so thought I should, too. :T If you don't know what's Pixiv Fantasia III, I talked about the project's premise here.

Eron was a bookworm that stayed as one even as an adult. He loves reading books so much that he didn't bother getting a job and stayed stuck in a library everyday just to read books. Wanting him to make a use of himself to humanity, his parents sent him off to the Amahagane Ancient Technology Research Lab/Institute and he ends up being the caretaker for the archives in the reference room. He's happy with where he is because there's plenty of stuff for him to read but once in a while he does want to read non-fiction, too...
He's probably asked to write down reports and data sometimes but he definitely doesn't enjoy those. He also doesn't like having to follow to on-the-spot missions (like ruin-exploring). And he probably keeps to himself most of the time in the reference room and I bet he even forgets to go to his room and sleeps there. ... I guess it doesn't make much of a difference from when he was at home! But he does have a good memory and remembers almost everything he has read, so if people need some info, he most likely can give the answer right at the spot or at least inform you which book has the answer they seek. So guess he isn't that useless after all! But he hasn't finished reading the thousands of books in the reference room so he doesn't know everything but he's aiming to read everything that's in the reference room, anyway.
Eron's always scowling but that doesn't mean he's angry or anything; his face is just stuck that way. XD Is an anti-social so he's shy and quiet, but it's possible to start up a conversation with him with topics on books. He admires Windrant and dreams to meet Windrant's Ulaf(sp) Private Library someday.
Other random details:
Hair accessories were given by a friend and since Eron's not one to buy anything besides books by himself, he's stuck wearing the same accessories for years.
"Eron" means "bringer of peace" but of course, not everyone knows that so he gets teased over his name a lot. ("Ero") Still doesn't like people calling him names but he's gotten used to it by now.
Doesn't smile much but that doesn't mean he doesn't smile at all! I'm sure deep down he enjoys the company of the Amahagane Lab.
Not rude, but more like clumsy in handling human communication. Disturbing him in the middle of reading a book will definitely annoy him but being an adult, he'll just suck it up and listen to what you have to say.
Stuff I didn't put on Pixiv:
Does have a 'childhood friend' (or 腐れ縁, as you would put it in Japanese), the same friend who gave Eron his hair accessories, but he left to either travel or join the military, who knows. Eron lost contact of that friend for more than 2 years. I would want to draw that friend in PF3 but I wanna see first how things are with my Eron before I add too much burden on myself.
