My excuse for playing Tales of Innocence today was that I was on the long way to the Immigration Bureau and there's no PS3 around to play Disgaea 3.
Almost 6 hours into the game, just got up to saving Angie Ange, if you're wondering how far into the game I am so far. (Yes, yes, I know, months after owning the game and I'm only this far, right?)
Gameplay talk:
I already know Sparda would have a Rekkuuzan. It shouldn't surprise me really once he finally learned it in my game.
B-but once he did, I was so damn happy to see it that I got teary-eyed in the train. ;_;
IT'S DOUBLE REKKUUZAN, MAN.
IT'S FREAKING DOUBLE REKKUUZAN, MAN.
Y-y-y-you should have seen my Ruka and AI Sparda doing Rekkuuzan together man OMG!!!11 *spazzes*
I'm still bitter over Rebirth not having Rekkuuzan at all and I think Saleh's the right character to have it, despite I kinda doubt a prideful character like him with a cape and all that would ever want to somersault through the whole field to even if it's to save his life.
Story Talk:
Wh-what kind of crack did this game's scenario writer smoke, man? >__>;;
Ruca's the reincarnation of a power-hungry rebellion (or, uh, anti-rebellion, I couldn't keep track of which is which by now) leader with giant horns, named Asura.
Iria is the reincarnation of Asura's lover, Iforgethername.
Ricardo is the reincarnation of Asura's rival/nemesis that I liked back when I was playing the demo at TGS 2007.
Sparda is the reincarnation of Asura's talking sword, Durandal.
And Ange is the reincarnation of a hawt MALE strategist named Orpheriel or something like that (HEY I WAS ON THE TRAIN; no pen and paper to make notes of), who was on the opposing side of Asura.
I'm curious about Hermana's past life already, despite not having met her yet.
The conclusion:
WTF?
