I WON THIS DAMN CUTE THING AT A UFO CATCHER.
FIRST TIME EVER TO GET ANYTHING OUT OF A FREAKING UFO CATCHER.
1000 yen. 6 tries given, got this on the 5th try. Is 1000 yen a bit too expensive for it? I have to thank the staff there, though. He was nice enough to move the bear to a good position to make it easier for me to grab it. But it was still hard to grab it so I decided to PUSH it into the hole instead. >_> Here, have
more photos! The bear is called
Relaxuma (rirakkuma), by the way. :D Eeyeah, finally found out the identity of
the pimp.
Made another university visit today and coincidentally the university was holding a festival today so after I finished discussing over my application forms at the office, I walked around the festival.
Bought some nice rare food there, and one of them being the
JAGA BUTTER!!!! I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO EAT THIS EVER SINCE I SAW IT IN A MANGA YEARS AGO AND I FINALLY GET TO YAAAAAAYYYY!!!! It was damn delicious! It's simply potato with salted butter and tarako+mayo topping it but there's this sort of sweetness in the potato that makes its taste melt very nicely with the butter so you get this very nice mixture of sweet and salty taste to it. ... Like sea-salt icecream! 8D I think Malaysia has something similar to this but I prefer this Japanese taste better.
I also checked out the Manga Research club (manga kenkyuu circle) at the university and they had a nice setup there; there was a rakugaki corner (with a bunch of very fangirly OMG-they're-so-obviously-slash-fangirls high school girls hanging out there) and an artist booth where the artists sell anthologies of their original works and you get to even request them to draw your favourite copyrighted character for 150 yen per postcard-sized piece. A very nice coincidence is that I found the Persona 3 OST booklet lying near one of the artists and it clicked to me that "OMG PERSONA 3 FAN!!!" so I spoke up to her and requested her to draw the Hero. 8DDD *smooches her P3 Hero postcard* IT'S INKED AND COLOURED WITH COPICS AND DONE IN HALF AN HOUR. I didn't have the guts to ask her "Hey, do you have a website?" *sobs*
It was getting late so after I left behind a rakugaki of Junpei and the Hero, I left the university without looking much at the other festivities. D:
And on the way back I stopped by Ikebukuro to do some errands (I preordered your game, Angie! :D Still no sign of your books, Feria, but I got the pin!) and bought a crepe after finishing some shopping. While standing at the side of the road to eat my crepe, I noticed two boys trying to win a Famicom-shaped TV remote control from a UFO catcher in a game arcade nearby. Being bored while eating, I watched them failing and failing numerous times. The kid was so desperate for it, man. XD And I couldn't help myself from thinking "Argh, you're not supposed to grab it THERE, it's better OVER THERE, dangit, then gravity can do the rest for you gamigami blabla" and then ".... You know what, I talk too much. I should try to win something myself." and so I went inside and... *points to above* XD

Peeked through Weekly Famitsu and found something I've been waiting months for:
MEGANE AXEL-LOOKALIKE FINALLY REVEALED YAAAAAYYY!!! Turns out that lady is the Big Boss of all the villains shown so far in the game. *_*;
Next page shows a Mini Meimei (no more boobs ;_;) and the Yard-lookalike who turns out to not be Yard, argh.
Other games:
Dragon Shadow Spell -
Page 1 and
page 2 (more villains <3)
Tales of Destiny -
Page 1 and
page 2 (Human Swordians! CHALTIER IS NOT BLOND WTFFFFFFFFF)
Also, the magazine announced that a Persona 3 novel is coming out on the 30th of this month! WTF, how come I haven't heard about this before. Anyway, it has Sanada on the cover, Kuzu! 8D I hope this means it'll have some backstory on him and Aragaki. ShinjiAkiShinjiAkiwhoowhoo

Just watched the first Death Note movie on TV! XD Thanks a lot to
yuukihikari for the heads up!
I wasn't really anticipating to watch the movie and just wanted to watch it because everyone and their mothers did, but it was actually a lot better than I expected! The plot changes were actually interesting to watch; I hope nobody complained about them. >_>; I LOVE RYUK. RYUK'S THE BEST THING IN THE MOVIE. RYUK'S ALSO THE CUTEST THING IN THERE. I can't remember much of how the first volumes of the manga went by now (and I don't have them with me) but Ryuk with his apples are just LOVE. XDDD
Light: You might not be able to eat apples in my room anymore.
Ryuk: ....... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
BEST REACTION IN THE MOVIE. PERIOD.
Also, pastries-on-sticks FTW. I couldn't help myself but go "EEEEWWW" when L put in a bunch of sugar cubes into his tea and then stir it with HIS LOLLIPOP. XDDDDD
Judging from the preview of the next movie, looks like they're replacing Mikami with a... woman. D: I thought they'd just scrap off the whole "3rd Kira" idea so that it's easier to wrap things up in the finale but looks like they're still going with it, but in a different way. Sad, because it would have been nice to see a live-action Mikami. :/ And because of this, it seems they really will pull off a completely different ending twist. Iiiiiiinteresting. I might wanna watch the last movie at the theatres after all.
