Ezekiel 22;30
(I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldnt have to destroy the land, but I found no one.)
This is God speaking to his people. He is looking for someone to stick up for HIM in a time when everyone is sinning. Have you ever had that since where someone is downing God and you so what to just start screaming at them and tell them your side. Thats what God means by the Gap he wants you to speak out for him. A perfect example is when the the guy at the Colmbine High Shootings he asked one of the girls 'Do u believ in God and where is your Jesus now' And she replied hes still here. He shot her but he also killed himself . Now were do u think they ended up. She filled the gap and he shot her for it. This hit me pretty hard because at the moment i am making a stand when my friends down Jesus. They drink and come to church as if it were nothing. But i will stand and fill in the gap and tell them that this is wrong. Well i just got back from church and this was what was on my mind. Im going to watch American Idol. Matt
