Yotiao:
1. a delicious
chinese donut2. an
anchoring protein. Probably not delicious.
Sweat to god after this assignment is done I will never want to eat those things ever again. It was hilarious when I first decided to write about it, but as I'm wafting through zillions of articles, I realized that I'm Totally. Screwed.
Because:
- Assays all use different cell lines FML
- AKAP in silico...WTF and can I use this?!
- How much shit can I jam into a HEK cell??
- Intro is a hot mess
- NR1A...protect from cell death? Does it?!?
- I'm spamming LJ instead of working
So basically my assay is going to be a potpourri of STUPID. Plus I couldn't have picked a more under-studied protein. Also developmental apoptosis is difficult to google 'cause people seem to get their rocks off more studying excitotoxicity.
I need moar coffee.
