SKATES
OMG MY SKATES ARE HERE.
They're in my room. I can't see them so it feels like they aren't real but THEY ARE.
I can't wait for roller derby tomorrow night. I'll never have to hire skates again!
Pretty stoked with myself cause I'm only Fresh Meat (new to derby, still learning how to be tough) but my team have put me in charge of their twitter (@epicrollerderby - you can tell which posts are mine and which are Maxi's cause mine have punctuation) and also elected me to their design and advertising committee.
Hanging out for Chris to finish his prac cause we have big plans for his holidays. We're gonna write and record heaps of music, go to a lot of local small-time gigs and I'm gonna take photos of the bands and give them my business card (which I designed yesterday and Kevin's getting printed for me) and hopefully make some money.
Pinky and the Brain is on so I'm gonna go now.
