(no subject)
So, Friday night I saw John Mayer at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
He. Was. Freakin. Amazing.
Gaaaaah I wish I had the chops (vocally - I'll never have the chops guitarifically but I'll leave that up to Christobobbin) to improvise like he does. I'll keep working on it I suppose.
Also, Orianthi opened for him (She was gonna be Michael Jackson's guitarist for his This Is It tour, she's an incredible Aussie shredder girl and she plays PRS which makes Chris deliriously happy because so does he). She was fantastic too but the crowd weren't nearly responsive enough. I thought there'd be heaps of guitarists there going "WOO" but apparently not. But she was still amazing!
So anywho, that brings my live music tally of the year up to:
