I hate lawn mowing. But it's been so dry the last couple of summers that I had forgotten how much I hated it.
This summer? If I leave the grass for more than a week I have another jungle. Of course, I'm not blaming the rain for this - all the rain we're getting right now is nothing short of fabulous. I just wish that the rain wouldn't make my lawn grow.
Other than that though, everything is good. Maia is applying for a scholarship and bursary to this school - www.saints.nsw.edu.au - so I just have to pay the exam fee of $85, and hopefully, she will end up with a ridiculously huge scholarship.
What else? Christmas shopping is driving me batty, but then it usually does - not that I have too much to do, and what I do need to do mainly involves picking up lay-bys etc, but there are still too many people. Specifically, too many stupid people who get in my way. Okay, maybe they're not stupid and I'm just intolerant of crowds of people. To be honest, it's probably that.
I'm thinking that next year, ALL my shopping will be online, and then I don't have to deal with any of that drama. I think that definitely sounds like a plan.
