... "cleaning the house for a dog sitter" is a very underrated workout.

My dog's freaking out slightly, because he isn't sure if people are coming over, or if I'm leaving town - those are the two times there's a major cleaning overhaul. But I think he's associated the "clean the bedroom and bathroom from tips to toes" means that I'm leaving town.

If that's the association your dog has made, then you need to have other reasons to clean. How about hosting a Boardgame get-together?

And by that, I mean: "clean tip to toes for when people come over."

Or, you know, clean tip to toes just for cleanliness.

Well, a boardgaming night isn't a bad idea, but that means that the downstairs gets the uber cleaning workover, since last I checked, boardgaming usually doesn't include the bedroom and master bathroom.

... unless you know a game I don't! ;)
