Sleep? Who needs it/ A few things~...
(a random shoot i decided to do last night with the gas mask i bought in minnesota. there are no other parts that came w/ it, but it turned out funny. the things really don`t match that much, but i really dun` care. more pics on that later yo.)
this is that time of the semester where people start going hair-pulling crazy because of finals and projects, studying and working. i haven`t had a proper nights rest since (maybe ever?) about saturday night, and have been running on average of about 2 hrs of sleep a night (filtering in the nights with no sleep and such) or less. i mean, my sleep pattern is fucked up already (hOlLAH!), but this is pretty bad. there have been so many things that have happened in the past two weeks or something, that i can`t really think of everything, so i`m probably going to miss something important, mMMEH!
a few weeks ago went home for the weekend, though it was the weekend of the 14th. i can`t remember having so many invites and shit for one day, where everything took place relatively during the same time frame. the 14th was the day of going to the Sakura Festival, George Mason`s Filipino Culture show, UVA`s Barrio Filipino Culture Show, hannah`s 21st birthday party, some other party, and then something else. if i could, IF i could (i will repeat), i`d try to go to most of those. in the end, since my family wanted me to come home and i can`t make miracles and warp, i went to the sakura festival and to george mason`s flip show. i felt so bad. i still can`t believe that uva and gmu planned their flip shows on the same NIGHT at practically the same time.
francesca was able to come to the sakura festival w/ us; she came back from japan recently for about a month or so to visit family and other things. yei~, it`s been a while since we`ve seen her, since the summer last year. we had a photoshoot scheduled, but weren`t able to shoot in the end. we`ll plan it again later.
i`m sure everyone feels the same way about this, but the situation at v.tech was a huge shock. our class got out early that morning, and we just watched the news. i had a picture of flowers and a big cutout of VT in front of campus` VCU statue, lost it. i also saw stefanie (cardillo) on the news that night when tiffany told me to turn the tv on for updates, that really hit me that this shit was 1000% reality. just.. so much shit.. but it was just flat-out fucked up. i wrote about it in mixi (a jpnese myspace equivalent), here`s the entry:

「今ポロックビルの五階におるんだ。五階で、窓からの風はすごく強くてうるさいです。今日Virginia Tech（VT)のハプニングは本当にヤバイです。学生はたくさんのほかのクラスメートを殺した。今まで２２死人体を見つけた。VTの友達は大丈夫かな。。さっき連絡しました、でも誰も返事しなかった。本当に心配する。」

全部であいつは３２人を殺した、２２人傷つけられました。その夜、何人かの友人は返事した。ニュースでも僕の高校学校からの友達、ステファニーちゃんのインタビュー見ました。ステファニーちゃんのルームメイトはそのFUCKERな学生から傷つけられました。これはアメリカの一番学校悪事です。

there are yet, more final projects due in the next two weeks, but i`m finally able to take some what of a break. and maybe even get to sleep at least five hours or more, right ON.

(at night, jenny and i went to the gallery opening of UNDISCOVERED at the JCC Weinstein; jewish community center. we each got two pieces in. this is a piece that i really didn`t think would get in, but did. the pieces will be up till may 20th, so anyone in the richmond area should go check it out yo~.)
(as a back-up, i helped jessie w/ her venus shoot today. fuckin` hilarious, she wanted to depict the painting w/ venus, but with men instead. no, i wasn` naked, instead josh was practically naked while wearing a 'mantie'. i was the person on the right w/ a cloth. in no hell way am i showing my skin, i`m too large for them anyway, hAHaha.)
