Heart no Kuni no Alice - Peter 12th Event
Alright people here it is, my last Heart translation! Well not definite last, but Peter means that everyone has at least one translation, yay! Sorry to Peter fans that he was the last one, but I admit, he is my least favourite character. I like him and I think he’s awesome, he’s just least favourite. Personally, I think it’s just his glasses I don’t like. I project my hate of my own glasses onto fictional characters that have to wear them too; so I picked an event where he doesn’t have them on 8D
This event was a doozy to translate. There were a lot of sentences that made me scratch my head and I had to guess; more so than usual. If anyone knows what “Chutte” (ちゅって) please let me know, so I can add that part of the conversation to the translation. Though honestly it might just be a sound effect.
Peter’s 12 Event
Alice: “...wait...hold on...stop it...”
Peter: “It’s only a kiss...”
Alice: “Only kissing...only...we’ve kissed enough....this is getting too much...”
Even though Peter says it’s only kissing, he seems to be interested in doing more. This situation...it’s so...
Alice: (It’s a bad joke...)
Peter: “Is it not enough? Am I not enough...”
Alice: “It’s more than enough!”
Peter: *chuckles* “You’re unselfish.”
Alice: “Unselfish? ...Because I never asked for this development!”
Peter: “Unfortunately, I am selfish... this is not enough.”
I’m not liking the sounds of this...it’s going to take an ugly turn.
Peter: “I noticed.”
Alice: “Wh-what?”
Peter: “No matter how many times you kiss me, it wasn’t your first time...Just a thought, but...I can never be your first, I can only be more amazing. Then, can I erase him from your memory?”
Alice: “I DON’T THINK SO”
Alice: (the thoughts nice...)
This is the guy who takes intentions to the extreme.
Peter: “I think so.”
Alice: “I don’t think so.... Hey, there’s no need to say you’re more amazing... It wasn’t that great anyway...”
I’m worried and scared.
Peter: “Ah, this will be even more amazing... *chuckles* amaaaazing. I will vanquish your first time from your memory....amaaaazing. I want to surpass your first partner.”
Alice: “YOU DON’T HAVE TO EXCEED HIM.”
However, I cannot cross the wall back to an ordinary man. I won’t arrive back to the world that I once knew.
Alice: “Even if the kiss was good, you shouldn’t care about the man I shared my first kiss with.”
Peter: “Eh? I do care. I love you. Therefore, I want to rise above him.”
Alice: “...”
Alice: (The top belongs to the best, is the best always the first?)
Somehow, the love story is similar to the ones children learn in grade school. I want to rule over my past. Though it’s selfishly...pure...Oh course, I do not think Peter White is pure.
Alice: “Even you, I’m just someone you kissed.”
In addition, I should... try to be more amaaaazing than them.
Peter: “What? I haven’t kissed anybody but you.”
Alice: “....Ha?”
Alice: (What?)
Peter: “Because, aren’t mouths dirty and full of germs? I don’t like dirty rabbits.”
Alice: “I didn’t get medicine after that kiss...”
I was kissed without hesitation. The bitterness of the medicine cannot be forgotten.
Peter: “Because it’s you. I’m full of various germs, I would accept a disease if it came from you.”
Alice: “DON’T SAY I’M LIKE A DISEASE. Do you think I’m sick?! How rude...”
Peter: “You’re particular. Especially since nothing particularly unusual was found...”
Alice: “You...I’m scrubbing my mouth.”
Peter: “Yes, the mouth is dirty...it makes kissing bitter...”
Alice: “That’s because of the medicine...”
Peter: “Yeah, our kisses afterwards weren’t bitter. It feels good when I kiss you. Even if mouths are dirty and sticky, it’s worth it.”
Peter gives a pleasant smile.
Alice: “...”
Alice: (The position of kissing this guy...)
Alice: “If my mouth does become sticky and dirty it’s because of you... You should lighten it up a bit more...”
Peter: “...like this?”
Alice: “Nnn....No...lighter....”
Alice: (WHAT HAVE I BEEN SAYING?)
My insane behaviour is not helping this fantastic situation. Peter is Peter. I’ve been depending ~ too much on reason.
Alice: “...Peter, by any chance have you gone out with anyone?”
Peter: “I haven’t.”
Peter answers lightly.
Peter: “Going out with someone is disgusting. I want neither friends nor a lover. You can get germs from touching people. I shoot someone if they come too close.”
Alice: “........”
Alice: (I don’t know...this person. He says such careless things, it’s bad... Besides, he’s a ****ing stalker, ****...)
He serves his appearance as a popular role holder, but he doesn’t act like he should for his position.
Alice: (though he only has a pretty face, though he only has a pretty face, though he only has a pretty face, BUT he only has a pretty face)
I won’t hold it against him.
Alice: “...what is my position?”
He touches me after the kiss. Will he seem to be even more inhuman?
Peter: “You’re an important person. I love you.”
Alice: “...I thought you didn’t want neither friends nor lovers?”
Peter: “...Alice”
Peter’s eyes shone.
Alice: “Wh-what...”
Peter: “Do you acknowledge you’re my friend and lover? I’m so happy.”
Alice: “Eh, EHHH...?!”
Alice: (I don’t know. This guy is for real...)
Alice: “We’re already friends... and I guess we’re together...”
Peter: “We’re already friends?! Eh? Since when? How long has it been since we were friends? I overlooked that memorable moment...Well,
I knew you for a long time, though I thought of myself as a friend...”
There seemed to be an awareness within Peter.
Alice: “There’s no line that says ‘from this point on your friends’. It’s just natural.”
Peter: “Hmm? Is that so?”
Alice: “As such.”
Peter: “...so if we wait a little longer, you’ll become my lover naturally.”
Alice: “What?! Lovers don’t naturally fall in love?!”
Alice: (though I might someday...)
I don’t feel like saying that outloud.
Peter: “I’m happy that you’re my friend, however I want you to become my lover...”
Alice: “...You just said you didn’t want either.”
Peter: “Only if it’s you. I want you to become both my friend and my lover.”
I’m a little embarrassed. I think love is troublesome, but I’m not troubled by friendship. He says he wants me to become one, but I don’t feel bad.
Peter: “Various germs can be exchanged.”
Alice: “DO YOU WANT TO FORCE A DISEASE ON ME?”

What’s that poor germaphobic rabbit going to do when Alice gets sick? I can just picture Peter with a can of aerosol disinfectant and a surgical mask yelling at the germs to leave his precious Alice alone. I want to see that happen!!
Everybody from Heart is done! I feel so happy! I do want to do another Gowland one since I was unhappy with that event... and I wanted to do Boris’ 16th event and Elliot’s ending because I thought that was hilarious. But for now, I’m moving on to Joker and Clover.

With school starting next week, I have no idea when I’ll start the next one. If it’s not up by the 7th, then God only knows when I’ll have time to do more.
