Friday: I was running non-stop from 8am to 3am. In class that morning we got our midterms back, I keep forgetting what whiney pansy-ass students theater majors are until one turned to me to comment how difficult the final is going to be if it’s any harder than the midterm. All I can do is just shake my head. One nice thing that the teacher did is he came over to show me the next couple of steps in our floor plan drawing so I wouldn’t have to wait for the rest of the class. Then after class went to the Sugarloaf Craft show with my parents. Got a fun x-mas present for someone and picked out one for myself too. Saw my brother and his new wife. Then home for dinner and finished sewing nephthys’s dress for Saturday. Finished putting my outfits together and then packed.
Saturday: Made really good time driving down to the wedding in south Jersey. Was great to see many people again. Got to geek out on Dr. Who with a few folks. Then left there at 6:30 to head down to Virginia for the McGroyne Halloween party. Once again made great time driving there and arrived at 10pm. No Conner sadly but a fun time was had! Did my best to catch up with all the other partygoers and succeeded. My costume went over well and a few kept singing the song throughout the night (I was a devil in a blue dress) I even managed to keep my heels on for most of the party. I don’t think I got as drunk at Pennsic this past year as I was at the party.
Sunday: Lazy morning with lots of coffee. No hangover just exhaustion. Narrowly avoided being mounted by Big B as I bent over to fold up my air mattress. Left approx 1:30. Was a nice drive home and it was great to see all the colors of the leaves on the trees. After a few text messages from Conner I was tempted to stop by the PA faire on my way home but I didn’t know where it was nor was I inclined to get lost in Pennsyltucky. About 30 miles from Jersey traffic just stopped due to construction, which added over an hour to my drive home. But I finally made it and proceeded to sleep through most of Monday.
