i don't wanna pack and you can't make me
I need more friends! Friends who DO things! Fun silly things! Free things! Any things! I have a +1 to a show on Saturday night and nobody wants to come! The few people who are interested in Yelle (the show I'm going to) are already busy or out of town. Boooooo!
I am surprising myself with new interests that are overall not like me. I've been going crazy over home design blogs, since I am moving in with Colin and want to make the apartment look really nice, since I feel like I will be there for a while and we'll have a nice space to work with. He's also getting rid of a lot of things and has been there for 3 years so he wants to make the place look new again.
I'm also wanting to do a lot of crafty projects? Blame it on some of the home design blogs that have somehow stemmed my interest into diy crafts, since they feature interesting pieces or projects that I could easily do myself. Kinda sucks that there is always so much to do in the summer that I won't have any time to get around to do a lot of these things I want to do unless it's raining.
I went to a clothing swap tonight and was severely disappointed. There were mostly middle-aged women who seemed to be hoarders who took anything that looked slightly nice and there was a lot of crap left. At least one of the nicer dresses that I brought went to a normal girl about my age and not one of the women who brought a SUITCASE to bring their stuff home. If I could I'd take back everything I brought (except that dress) and bring it to the Salvation Army or something, most of those women skeeved me out.
