quickly (yes, i'm alive & well)
Much much much to say and update you all on, but it is too late and I'm too tired. All you need to know, if you don't already, is that I sang karaoke with Ted Leo and the Pharmacists as my backup band last week at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn (which is literally 5 blocks away from my apartment), and tonight I was dancing onstage with Andrew WK at Irving Plaza. 75% of the shows I saw in NYC in high school were at Irving Plaza, so it holds a special place in my heart. I was there last month to see Motion City Soundtrack too, but tonight I was on the stage. Awesome. And AWK was fun as well.
I am also planning a trip with Colin that will happen in about 10 days. Still haven't booked a flight yet as we're trying to put together last minute info, but ideally we're looking at Barcelona or Amsterdam. If neither of those happen then I would like to visit Portland/Seattle/Vancouver, perhaps. Either way, adventure is happening!
