Bill 156: because we are too innocent to know.
Seems this is the second time in a row that i write about anime and manga. Quite odd, since I play more videogames than everything, but the world is really full of surprises~!
Don't take me wrong, this time isn't just complaining and I promise next time I'll be super happy, it's just that we can't hide our heads under the sand. You may know, I want to watch the second series of Maria Holic; well yesterday I was on MAL and I heard that it could be cancelled. It was ages since I have taken a look at anime news so I was pretty shocked. It tourned out a certain Bill 156 which got approved and I searched on the net. Maybe they are all stupid fakes, but it's the best I found:
"So every anime related to violence/ecchi/H+/school uniforms aren't allowed... so what are we suppose to watch? People talking to each other =l? lolwat."
"Any manga, animation, or pictures (but not including real life pictures or footage) that features either sexual or pseudo sexual acts that would be illegal in real life, or sexual or pseudo sexual acts between close relatives whose marriage would be illegal, where such depictions and / or presentations unjustifiably glorify or exaggerate the activity. Any sexually arousing posing on the behalf of children under the age of 13 wholly or partially naked, or wearing swimwear or only underwear, published in books or featured in film, must take into account of how the child’s mind and body may be harmed by becoming the object of sexual desire, and therefore parental guardians must exercise parental responsibilities to prevent and educate minors from becoming featured in such work or child pornography."
"Another section of the revised bill would allow the government to directly regulate the above images if the depicted acts are also “considered to be excessively disrupting of social order” such as rape."
My first reaction was a big laugh, then I started on being seriously worried. My friends know of that girl I wrote about that was tricked by a ten years older guy. This is exactly the world we are coming to. As I said, no complains; but some undeceived statements. Let's begin from the start:
1. No anime related to violence, ecchi, H+ or school uniforms are allowed, wtf. This is one of the craziest things I have ever heard! No violence? Are we supposed to eat only white, naive bread? That's why when people know about murders, robbery or disappeared children always remain surprised like this isn't happened the previous day! Stop living under this disgusting, false shield! Or want we to talk about ecchi? In my country teens do sex without knowing it at all nor using condoms because they think it's like playing an eroge. Instead of hiding it, let's inform them. I don't say nothing about school uniforms because this is absurd. They wear them, I don't see why to not show them in TV.
2. About the not legal in reality/ between close relatived sexual acts I can nearly understand. Okay, if they are illegal, they remain illegal also in cartoons. But 13 years old children partially naked or wearing a swimwear isn't pedophilia! Young children here wear costumes at the beach, and myself wasn't all covered like a nun at the age of 12, so this makes NO sense. A sick person could love infants even if they are wearing jeans and jumper. Since they go partially naked to the beach in the reality, it's not coherent to delete them from anime.
3. Hiding the rape. Hiding. The. Rape. Okay guys, I'll tell a story, I was nearly raped few years ago and I'm safe today just because I knew this horrible thing exist and ran away. To pretend that this doesn't happen is to cheat on people possibily at risk every single day of their life. You should say it's not nice to make them worried, I answer they must be worried to survive. We are animals after all, and live in an urban jungle. Do you know how young turtles start their lives, running into the water to not be eaten after a second? Is the same thing. Then open your eyes Japan, this is the craziest thing of all the bill!
And here is finished. Oh, by the way, I like a visual novel which has H-scenes and I'm not mentally disturbed or anything. People must be able to choose what to watch, read, play or whatever and this entry isn't 14+.
