RE: Games that can be better

Dec 30, 2010 16:06

The title is a little self-explanatory I suppose. On Playfire I have created a games list and its name is exactly "Games that can be better". Because I don't want to do only the half of things, it's time to specify why the hell.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker

This game wasn't that bad at the first look. Monsters doesn't seem got out from a sewer or the study of a crazy surgeon, the ost was average and I enjoyed battles. But, honestly, a thing didn't work properly: the creatures combination. Primarily was useful and also funny to do but after few times it became boring. Easily catch dah monsters and get the new one. Just this. I'm disappointed and waiting the sequel, hoping for improvements.
Memo

This is an amateur visual novel I tried. To tell it completely, an amateur dating sim with a girl to conquer.  Why are you looking at? My bf called me trap lesbian for months *laughs*. Anyway, this VN tells me nothing. It has nice graphic, but I don't remember the music and also the story was pretty anonymous. Moreover, just a childhood friend and no other girls. Wtf.
Pokémon Battle Revolution

This is maybe the worst game I've ever played. The commentator makes me rage all the time, music is absolutely average, the plot inconsistent and just the graphic a bit better. You do nothing but fight, fight, fight and damn IF I JUST WANNA HAVE A BATTLE I DO THE LEAGUE ON ANOTHER VERSION. A shitty expansion that adds nothing relevant, just a bit of secret gifts they could have released on wi-fi.
Scribblenauts and Touch Detective 2 1/2
If you haven't done yet, check this and this.
Yachoukitan

This time is easy. The graphic is awesome, the music okay and just the plot could be improved. Like for Dragon Quest, I would see more.
