I got a lot of work done tonight, so as a reward to myself, here are some pictures!
The cast party for my school show was superhero themed, so I decided to be the girl in the obscure costume and go as Death from Sandman. The weird Goth girl in our company knew who I was!
My attempt at serious!face. They never quite work out.
Like my tin-foil and cardboard ankh? :-D
Lastly, I went through my costume stash and figured out what I'll be wearing for Sherbrooke.
The plaid skirt I started last year and then lost motivation on when I had nowhere to wear it to. I need to finish the waistband, hem it, add a ruffle, and I'm done. It's a really stiff taffeta so it stands out beautifully on its own. The jacket is from my first trip to Sherbrooke, and is still as warm and cute as it was originally! The muff I found at the local drug store. The hat was also made last year. So to do for this costume:
1. Finish waistband
2. Hem skirt
3. Add ruffle and trim
4. Make petticoat
I'm thinking a flannel petticoat. I was pretty chilly last time.
