18c progress!
I get myself into the 18th century mood, I made myself this cute hate out of stuff in my sewing room. All hand-sewn in front of Marie Antoinette!
I have dubbed it the Rococo Cupcake hat.

As you can see, I was also feeling inspired enough to pull out my chemise dress. Here I'm wearing it with two petticoats and my bumroll. I think I need to make a larger rump-roll to give me more umph at the back, but the bumroll here gives it a good amount of kick, too. I just forgot how short-waisted this style makes me look!
The great thing about this hat is that it will also go with my planned 1770s stripey polonaise. I am just going to go fun and girly with this one, and not worry too much about accuracy. It is my first go at this style, so I am just going to have fun and make something pretty to wear at Polaris this year.
