Good and bad news
The white regency is done! *fanfare* It fits and looks adorable, and I love it! Such an improvement on the old model. It just needs a good iron and it'll be ready to wear. I would like to get some nice outdoor shots in it once the weather warms up again.
I really need to make a new regency petticoat. Not only was my current one made before I knew anything about historical costuming (cotton/poly broadcloth - groos!) but I also decided to line the bodice, which makes it far too bulky. I'd like to make a new one with thinner straps that will lie more smoothly under a gown. Maybe with a ruffle!
Bad news it, I think I'm coming down with a cold. My throats been itching all day, and my head feels like it's full off cotton balls. Damn you body, and your bad timing!
