First Timer (rant)
Hi All,
Well, here's my first post. About time. I signed on to LJ awhile ago at the request of a pushy friend. (you know who you are) I'm more a stalker not a writer. I don't have much to say. Well, that's not true, I have plenty to bitch about but I want to stay focused here. I'm reading a really good story by a great author. One whom I know well complete the story. And that got me thinking about the many WIP I'm following. One in particular. Now maybe you guys can help me out here? How do you tactfully tell someone to finish what they started? Now I know this person didn't fall off the face of the earth. I read their long rants here at LJ. I also read their excuses for not finishing a story they started long ago. And I'm thinking "Hello, if you can find the time to update your journal why not update your story?" Actually I don't say it quite that way, there's a whole lot of cussing in frustration involved. But that's what I am. Frustrated. Two Years!! Why can't I get closure? This is a great story that needs to be finished. Is it to much to ask? Now maybe I'm being selfish but I know I'm not alone here. If I could write, which I've tried, I suck, I know it, I would finish the damn story. Please oh please for the love of god can I get some closure here? That is all
