That will make sense to very few people but think of classic Vietnam war films and you'll hopefully see the "stereotypical soldier" link there. If not, well... doesnt matter...
Its been a superb couple of days since I last updated, went to Steve's bday on Saturday where many photos were taken, food was eaten, poker and Tekan (sp?) were played, Red Dwarf was watched, and so on and so forth. Then the few waking hours of Sunday were spent at Hazz's; great way to spend the weekend, in good company and with good food!! :D Thanks Steve! (and Steve's parents presumably since I'm guessing he couldnt do all that on his own... :P)
So yeah all good all in all, and now comes the weeks of exams... well... one day for me! :P Still haven't really revised properly, started yesterday but and its going ok but tomorrow will be the real tester, I still need to watch City of God again and possibly La Haine not to mention the numerous extracts from Soviet and German films (thats were the actual work comes into this subject :S). Still, hopefully going to see Thunder on Sunday (*fingers crossed* *touch wood* i.e. hugs computer desk) and that woould be a great end to the week and would put me in a relaxed and ready, state-of-mind for my interview next Wednesday.
Speaking of musical stuffs, Dragonforce has arrived (Inhuman Rampage) and its not as good as I was hoping for. They sound ok still, but they're... I'm not sure what it is, but the CD seems to be lacking something, still, maybe it'll end up growing on me. It also means that I'm glad that the first album was out of stock when I went into HMV in Sheffield yesterday- I knew I should have got HIM's new album instead! Grrrrrr... And yes, take note all yea who thought I couldnt complete my shopping trip in an hour! I did, very easily, no problems what-so-ever (apart from the above "problem" of course) so there! :P all yea doubters and no-hopers; yea of little faith, bow your heads in shame! (just kidding! :D) I can't really afford new CDs anyway but still... there's always so much to get and it just seems so good that you have to take advantage of the sales! There are loads of CDs (as always) I'm thinking of getting, and now they've decided to release the series boxes of 24 for £17/18 each! Bargin! waht the hell is going on? Then of course, watching Red Dwarf made me think abouot getting some more of that, though I may have to trade in my special edition (Season 1 anyone?) and pick up that box-set of the first five seasons instead, since I just watch the episodes really... Hmmmm, anyway...
