Ok, its late... yeah I respect that... but its been difficult... it was a long long month (with about 5 hours of hazzy :( which sucked)... Added to this, I have been pretty busy, believe it or not... All you people who tell me I have an easy course, with very little work can bloody well sod off... though that shouldn't be anyone who actually reads this, nevermind... Sorry... there will be alot of reading from me tonight, if you get bored... um... listen to rock music while you read, may I politely suggest Thunder, as they RAWWWWWWWWK...
10 - Shit Happened...
9 - Not much to say for the worst of the month... It was something bad, unlike recent most months throughout this year, but its just general annoyingness. Not seeing mates, trying to settle in, opening bank accounts and being messed around, trying to pay off accommodation costs and being messed around, housemates being annoying, missing people etc etc...
8 - Got a Job: Yeah MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wooot! This was incredibly good, job at currys.digital. However, they sent me to several interviews and a telephone interview, and generally messed me around exactly the same as everyone else... still, I cant complain really, a job's a job... (I actually got this in november technically, but most of the interviews and such were done in October so its been put here).
7 - Photographing for Project: FINALLY! I am allowed to hire 35mm cameras from uni... oh yeah... I was fined too... £25 :| but other than that, it was a relief to get out and about with some fresh equipment, including fisheye lenses! Basically, for those who dont know, this is a type of lens with a very wide angle of view, 180 degrees in some cases... yup its wider than human vision... Anyway, check out
ringo for an idea of what's been going on.
6 - New CDs: Yeah... I know... I'm a student, I shouldn't... But well... ACK! they're just so damn good! And what the hell, you only live once... Unless you're James Bond (see I have been quite good, I am saving money by not going to the cinema, eventhough there are great films like that out... :S). only 3 this month though; Skunkworks - Bruce Dickinson (6-7/10); Mob Rules - Black Sabbath[Dio years] (8/10); Hardcore Superstar - [Self titled] (8/10).
5 - New Lens: Speaking of new equipment... most of my spendable loan (i.e. that which wasnt needed for the initial accommodation payment(£904...:S)) was spent on a new macro lens for my canon cameras! It is a pro quality lens and is absolutley... well... its the closest any inanimate, material object can come to being called 'beautiful' I reckon. The results it gives certainly are beautiful, and its very good for portraits too. Needless to say I'm well into that overdraft... :S :S :S
4 - Doing Nothing... Oh yeah... I'm hypocritical...
3 - Day out in Sheffield: Met up with Fran, Alex, Joe B, etc etc. Went to a pub to watch England play appallingly during a qualifying game... lots of swearing ensued... (I was with K and Joe at this point after all...). I also went out and about and took some photos, including the peace gardens in daylight and night. I never realised just how many people have their wedding photos taken in there every day... But tbf, it was a lovely day indeed... Anyway, after the aforementioned, we went to pizza hut to meet up with Mark, Shula, Dave, Emma, Joe S, Han and Steve; and there was much rejociing and consuming of pizza, as this was the first meet-up of folks since leaving for uni... (well it was my first meet-up anyway...)
2 - Went to See the Everton Vs Sheffield United Game: And complete some further project work with Mark made -up as a goth... He does make a good model that man... even if its only due to his poser nature...
1 - Went down and saw hazzy for a day (with her family): This was lovely... it was only a short time, but it didnt matter, it kept me sane... ;P
Phew... one down...
