Best of September...
Another best of! A little late, tis true to say, but nevertheless it's here now... A difficult month really in many respects, not least the whole going away to uni thing. Still, here is the list, I'll try and keep it positive... which, actually isnt that hard to do...
10 - Dont mention number ten... ten this week is bad... also, I ordered a CD by the band Ten - that hasnt come yet either... :(
9 - Packing for Uni: Yes well , not something I really enjoy packing... unless its for a really good holiday :) But nevertheless it happened, it was boring and it took lots of my precious time so... yeah...
8 - Dodgy Action Films: Yes, gotta love em... Steven Seagal - He's good, you have to say... not at acting maybe, but if you can find me someone who can block, parry and fight as well as he can, doing all his own stunts - who isnt of Chinese origin and who is a working Blues/rock artist... well... :P I'll be impressed...
7 - New CD's: Hammerfall - Legacy of Kings (8/10) Great CD can't wait for the new album...
6 - Fresher's Week: Wasnt as bad as I thought it might be :P. Housemates were great and had some good fun too, despite early settling in problems... NO INTERNET!!!! :O :P Nah, to be honest it was nice to have a break from it and good to get a feel for the place - also Tuesdays are now our "going out" nights - due to the fact that its rock night at our union club. anyway, I can only assume I must have made an impression on them as soon as I'd gone to go home for the weekend, they were squabbling amongst themselves :P.
5 - Last Get-together Before Uni Day: There were several days I've lumped into one for this particular entry. Joe's end of summer party - first party at his house - last party of our school days... I was good fun however, and we all got a final night of drinking and partying before the heavier stuff at Uni :P Also, a quick trip round to Joe's was made before I went on holiday - this was our risk day and it helped us to establish one thing and one thing only... Shakira really is a dirty woman... though whether that's down to a translation problem or not who knows... Oh yeah, this in turn helped us to establish that K and Joe are at least half as dirty-minded as Mark :P :P
4 - Last get-together at Mine: Once again, a bit of a chance for all the HVC people to catch up - this happend... well there's a log entry of it so the date's on there I guess... anyway...
3 - Film: The Wickerman - The re-make, last film I saw with
samegrazedknees before we were set to go off to uni. It was actually really good I thought, Nick Cage once again played a good part. And yes... I do still maintain that he could've jumped out of the burning head and beaten them all! :P
2 - Driving Test: I PASSED!!!!!! DAMN RIGHT! Woo! :P So so glad I got it out of the way before uni truely started. Thats the reason (or one reason anyway) that I came home at the end of fresher's week.
1 - Holiday: I dont think I need to put too much here. I was going to write a joint entry with hazz on this one so that we could both put it on our blogs however, it hasnt happened :(. It will in the future sometime I'm sure, but for now I'm just happy basking in the glow of the fantastic memories it has left, imprinted (forever I hope) on my mind... lol! that was quite poetic for me! Dont take the mick! I dont do poems :P Seriously, I had a great time - Thank You... :)
There we go - another month passes away, though this one seems to have taken ages and ages to go - whereas August flew by, quite sadly :(. It always strikes me as odd the way some time periods go so quickly and yet some go achingly slow... Maybe its just the volume of stuff that has gone on - time always seems to go slower if you pack lots of activities/alot happens in(to) a short space of it...
Does this mean busy people have longer lives than the rest of us...??? who knows... ;P
